It only weighs 850g so great for travelling and carrying to the beach. You have to remember that this isn’t a “tent” so don’t expect it to be as thick as that. It’s about as thin as an umbrella and should be treated with the same respect. That said, it’s not flimsy. It’s so simple to put together. Took me around 10 mins first time on my own and about 7 mins to take down fold and pack, on my own. So I’m pretty pleased with that result. I should imagine I’ll be quicker next time. It’s much bigger than I envisaged but really happy with it. It will be easy to take to the beach, popped down the side of our backpack. I wasn’t able to choose the colour, but that wasn’t a deal breaker (mines blue).
