More often wall mounted but some are floor mounted. It heats water ‘on demand’ when a hot tap or mixer shower is turned on. Connected directly to the mains cold water supply at high pressure there is no need for a hot water cylinder, cold water tank or shower pump in the home. No, this item is screw-on. It comes with what I think is a British Standard 1/2-inch pipe thread (BSP, about 3/4" in diameter) and is made to be joined to a standard flexible shower hose. The narrow handle will seat in many shower-rail holders. The head offers 3 positions of spray. It would be suitable for a mixer-tap that comes with a shower-hose attachment. As for push-fit, this might be possible if you could find a 1/2" BSP to push-fit adapter, of the sort used for garden hoses. Hozelock might make something of that sort. **Q: What is the diameter of the triton reaccbp3ch hose and would it fit a triton t80xr hose holder.thanks** A: I have used this head as a replacement on a Triton t80si, and it is a direct swap. I fits fine, but the only thing I would say is that the holes in this shower head are larger than the original, so the needle spray is a bit pathetic.
