My HP runs cool to the touch now not even slightly warm like I expected. The level of fan noise is lower than I expected even on level 6, the air flow is better than expected. Comfortableside grip to carryand the extra usb port is nice as well. . Once the computer is on the cooler it is even less. I use my computer for video chat with family and they do not even know the cooler is there. Last one I had was so loud I had to have a radio on to cover the noise. Easy to raise and lower the platform and the lights on the side add a cool accent (i don't use those side lights much) easy to turn on and off by holding down the button. Change colors by single press of the button. My computer does not get hot now even when running teams meetings on it. A bit fragile, though. *by M***U on December 3, 2025* PROS - I plugged it into my laptop and was pleased with how quiet it is, even with all fans on. The buttons are responsive and easy to understand. The lights are fun for gaming or night use. The two tabs that flip up and hold your computer did a good job with my HP Pavilion 14". Also, one thing that wasn't advertised but that I really like is - it feels kindof magnetic! So your laptop is clung to, making it even more safe from slipping. This cooler is wide, ngl, it does stick out about an inch on either side of my laptop, so make sure your laptop stand has space, unless you're using this for a stand. The fans are very cooling, haven't tested them on when my computer is super busy, though. CONS - When I tried to use this as a stand, the "kickstand" leg cracked right off when I was unfolding it. It seemed very flimsily attached, cheap plastic. I am not sure if the thin metal bar that moves up and down to make the stand taller or shorter, could hold a very heavy laptop. Also, the + and - buttons that control the fans, for some reason say "6" on full-range, even though there are 8 fans.
