So very happy i did!! my hair is more fragile as i age , i have lots of silver on top , with a short bob cut. This iron is phenomenal! I use it to give my hair a bend, slight curl and it works amazing. It's well made , beautiful rose colored plates, and very simple to use; 3 basic buttons, on/off, and temp controls, up and down buttons, and a clear window to see the temp.It defaults to 450 degrees each time it turns on so, be aware if you need a lower temp as i do.
