Unfortunately I have to use to cover gray hair. This product has great gray coverage, but if you scratch your head, it will come off on your fingers. I have used this brand for about 10 years. I highly recommend. Bonus also. You do not have to wash it out of your hair before you, color your hair, the hair color we’ll still go on. I highly recommend to anyone with gray hair. Also, this is much better than a spray on because once you spray on your hair is stuck to that place just like hairspray, with this product, your hair continues to move and you can restyle over and over.

Easy to apply but Joan Rivers cover-up applies smoother, lasts till shampooed out.

Very easy to use and a quick fix for your roots between salon visits. I like the fact that it is easy to wipe off from your skin and as far as transference goes, it is not as bad as some sprays out there. It also lasts much longer than a spray. Overall, I'm happy with the product and will buy again.

Great product for coverage- It lasts until you wash your hair. So it's basically waterproof if you get a little water on it- till you use shampoo. I got a darker one which was more accurate for my dark brown hair (not their fault i got a too-light color). If I'd lightened my hair as planned (with hair color) this shade wouldn't been perfect, so I recommend the darkest brown for dark brown hair of course.

the Auburn color matched my hair perfectly with out leaving a fake looking color on my scalp. Easily enough you can " scrub" the applicator to outgrowth on your crown though you cannot see to apply. The color will come off your scalp if you work it off with your fingers, a brush, the brush they give you. This is a keeper for me. For emergencies when you have outgrowth that shows. I found it gives my hair a lift at the roots if I keep " scrambling" it like you see people do with dry shampoo to get root volume. Not fakey or weird. This product is everything you would hope for.

I've used several different root concealer powders and they all worked EXCEPT this one! I purchased it because the quantity is higher than most other powders but the powder will only transfer to the applicator. I tried on my hair, hand and a tissue and the powder will not transfer. So basically ANY other powder will probably do the trick but I would avoid this one.

I got this to cover my gray roots that show around my hairline before it's time to color my hair again. I have reddish brown hair and ordered the auburn shade. It matches my hair color perfectly, it couldn't be a better match. It's like a solid powder that comes with a sponge applicator and also a small brush. The brush is good for getting around the hairline and the sponge applicator worked great for the roots showing at the crown.

I was reluctant to try this but I am so glad I did. It completely works. Easy application with the powderpuff. There is also a small brush applicator for more detailed areas. The trick is getting your colour match right, if you get your colour right you won’t regret your purchase and the powder blends perfectly into your existing hair. It stays put once on as well and washes out when you wash your hair. As a menopausal woman my hair has given me some trouble, some thinning around where I part my hair and my temples. This product is magic.
