I've been using QUIMICA ALEMANA QUIMICA ALEMANA Nail Hardener for 3 years. It's the only thing that help my splitting and peeling nails, and tough enough to last through the constant times my hands was in water. My nails are finally healthy and growing longer than they ever have before.

My nails have been breaking, splitting, and cracking for years. I stopped getting them manicured. My sister told me about this product and I ordered it. Within 2 months, I no longer had peeling nails. Within 6 months, my nails are so strong that I cannot believe it. It does contain formaldehyde which I assume is not good for your nails, however, it's wonderful for mine. They have never looked this good or been this strong! I had to have them filed back last week.

It also does hardener you nails. Use it every 7 days, remove it, leave your nails resting a day and then use the nail polisher again.

I have always been nail obsessed, painting my nails every two days, and my nails always looked great but were never strong. They’d grow to a beautiful length and break at the silliest and smallest thing. Now I gave myself about 4 months of using this before posting, and I can say, THIS WORKS. Seriously, folllow the directions (they’re not kidding, this somehow is painful to your nails) kind of gives this sensation of closing a car door on your hands. I like to think as women we have a really high pain tolerance, so this is like strong discomfort but doable. It’s strengthened and allowed my nails to grow, without. ever. breaking. I’ve been using this in combination with Hard as Hooves cuticle cream for the past 4 months and my nails now look like a hand model’s, no joke. Patience is key with this, it takes time, and don’t rush the process bc your nails will actually hurt you. That’s the ONLY reason I’m putting 4 stars and not 5 bc I wish we could do this without any pain!

I love it!! I use after remove my acrylics nails and my nails looks healthy and growth so fast.

Please read this entire review!First of all this product is banned in the EU and UK because it contains cancer causing substances.This stuff works to strengthen your nails but it is really painful to use! My nails did grow and get harder. It was okay the first week or so, then most of my nails started to burn and sting, when I applied the product. Later the pain increased enough to wake me from a sound sleep. As you can see from the picture one nail bled under the nail repeatedly even after removing the product. It looks like I mashed my finger but I didn’t. It hurt like hell!My nails are very soft and break easily back into the quick which really hurts but not as much as this product makes them hurt.THEN I re-read the instructions and decided I was applying it too often. And it’s very important to not let it touch your cuticle.I am removing the product and giving my nails a couple weeks off from all nail polish because it has caused my nails to be hyper sensitive. I haven’t decided if I will use it again. It did help strengthen my nails.
