Adore Shining Semi Permanent Hair Colour, 116 Purple Rage

Applying this at home turned out to give me a better result than getting purple hair done at the hairdressers. Granted it faded quite quickly, but I put that down to me not being able to go 2 days without washing my hair. If I didn't have this obsessive need to wash my hair every 2 days, the colour would have lasted a lot longer. Even though it faded, the colour that it faded into (after 2-3 weeks by the way) was a really beautiful shade of violet that I didn't even know I wanted. I have now returned to my natural hair colour because I'm worried that the upkeep for fashion coloured hair is going to ruin my hair completely, but when I look back on pictures of my hair with this dye, it makes me want to dye my hair all over again. Let me also add that after applying this hair dye, my hair genuinely looked sleek and shiny for days.

Absolutely amazing product! Will only buy Adore from now on. Easy to use and very vibrant! I had blue in my hair which I was unable to remove with a bleach bath and Adore just went over it! Keep in mind photos are after two washes. Green is Electric Lime. And for purple I mixed Violet Gem and Purple Rage together, which made a lovely Cadbury purple shade that I was going for. The formula is more runny than I've expected, but I love it, as I use gloves more than a brush and it was really easy to spread down the hair strands.

I had the purple one - when it’s freshly done, the colour is brilliant. But unfortunately it doesn’t last very well, I’d say 2 washes max, and then becomes various shades of blue.

Gave this hair dye a shot after reading how much coverage it does, typically I need 4 boxes of dye for my thick hair. I risked it and only bought 2 of these, I only needed 1 bottle! The dye it's self felt like break oil and like it was damaging my hair but once it was all done and dry it was so vibrant and soft it was perfect! It has been many washes since and it is still in my hair while others would have washed out by now. I'm switching to this dye immediately.

I have med blonde/light brown hair. I've dyed my hair before, however this was applied on narural hair. For me, adore purple rage is a wonderful colour, however within a few days it reacts with the sun and makes the top layers go a bit green/blue. And after one or two washes it started going silver as it faded (people keep thinking I've dyed my hair a different colour again!) It isn't a huge problem for me - it makes it look like I've purposely faded peacock colours together, but it wasn't what i expected the colour to be like. I applied it on dry hair and left it on for an hour. I found that leaving it on for 15 mins (as the bottle states) or even 30 mins was not enough time to get full vibrancy from the dye. Overall, leave the dye in longer than it says, and don't expect it to stay the same colour for long! Though personally this wasn't an issue!

I mixed both violet gem and purple rage together as id read another reviewer had done and im not dissapointed at all!! My hair before dying was a pale green with some pale blue mixed in, after having used a colour remover on my previously medium vibrant blue hair, that had faded to a teale blue (from the same brand), and about 2 inch of lightened orangey-yellow re-growth and its gone slightly lighter than cadbury purple I'd say. The last purple dye i used washed out to blue within a couple of washes so ill update on what this turns to!! My only slight complaint would be that my hair is down to the bottom of my back so it can be hard to dye anyway and i didnt do it exactly to the intructions so i didnt knock anything off the review for this - i used this on dry hair (it says used on towel dried on instructions but usually you get a better colour payout with dry hair), and i found it hard to spread this way. It didnt seem to lather, but maybe itd be easier on damp/towel dried hair. And secondly, it stains but comes out quickly. And maybe a tip? I got dye all on my sink bowl, so i filled the sink with hot water and added some toilet cleaner(first thing to hand) and soaked it, it just came right out. Also stains hands and nails (i forgot gloves and ended up slapping it on with my hands, oops. and the nails takes much longer to remove lol.)

Amazing color. I've been doing my coloring so easily , and the result was exactly what I wanted. The only down part it washed away after 3 washes.

The violet gem is usually my go to brand but the consistency is different in the last bottle, as if watered down. The colour barely takes and washing out very very quickly

Fades very very fast , and it's price is hight for the product

El violeta rage me ha sorprendido lo bien que ha cogido y cubierto. Sobre cana no coge tanto pero deja un tonito violeta muy bonito que queda estupendo mezclado con el resto de mechas, así que crea más matices. Es poca cantidad para lo que cuesta pero el al menos el resultado lo merece. En la foto solo tengo una mecha de prueba porque quería ver cómo quedaba y si tenía que ponerme un poco de mascarilla azul que tengo, pero no ha hecho falta, porque este color no tira para nada a rosa, es un morado casi eléctrico, no es necesario desteñirse tanto, con unas mechas baby es suficiente. Queda súper bien y con un brillo intenso, yo no lo dejé 15min, sino bastante más... Casi una hora, no reseca el pelo. Lo recomiendo mucho

Also ich weiss nicht warum die negativen Kommentare. Meine Haare habe ich vorher Blondiert. Habe das "Adore 116" mit einer Haarmaske und einen Schuss Essig gemischt. (Kurze Erklärung: Essig hat einen sauren pH-Wert dadurch wird die schuppenschicht des Haares geschlossen. Das Haar bekommt dadurch mehr Glanz, und die Farbe "fällt" nicht so schnell raus. Hält besser beim Waschen.) Ich bin sehr zufrieden. Je heller das Haar um so intensiver das Ergebnis. Ich mische es eben mit einer Haarkur um eine bessere Textur zu bekommen, da die Farbe sehr flüssig ist, wodurch es leichter ist gleichmäßig zu verteilen...und gleichzeitig wird das Haar gepflegt nach der Blondierung.
