No instructions, but intuitive
Adjusting was trial and error, but ultimately works perfectly. Was at first a bit concerned it did not come with installation instructions, but online pictures and common sense was enough. Hire out this repair if you aren’t mechanically minded, otherwise this was a great cost-saving DIY job.

The bracket works as designed
I only rated it 3 stars b/c of the lack of instructions. But I installed in 30 mins with no issues.No issues at all with the bracket. Very sturdy and adjustable enough that it fit my metal door and chamberlain opener with no problems. As others posted there are no instructions but assuming your trolly bracket arm is adjustable like mine there are plenty of options to get the right fit.The bracket does not come with mounting hardware for connecting to the door, which makes sense because depending whether your door is metal, wood or fiberglass that will determine what you need. For a metal door or metal mounting plate self drilling hex sheet metal screws are easy. I plan to go back with a few rivets once I am positive the placement is correct.Just make sure you test the travel distance on the trolly and reprogram as necessary bc the new connection will have a different travel radius.

exactly what I needed
The bracket on the top panel of my garage door failed after many years. This bracket fit my door pretty closely and once bolted into place on the door works well and centers the door / attachment better than the original. The door runs quieter and closes better now.

Perfect fit
Exactly what I needed to reinforce the garage door for new opener installation. While you could get by with the small bracket that’s about 4” long, this bracket is secured the entire width of the panel, for the best long term strength and protection of the door.
