Milwaukee Electric - M12 Fuel Orbital Detail Sander

Being a jack of all trades I get to use many different types of tools but this little sander did not disappoint. It did not surprise me on how great it works. I love that I can cut my own pieces of sandpaper to put there so I don't have to buy the pre-cut stuff. Hook and loop type. I've used it to sand various wooden objects and the Finish is very nice. I have this in my nearly every day Arsenal. I recommend it. Milwaukee makes great tools.

I bought this to help sand trim, crown molding, and chair rails prior to painting. It exceeded my expectations and worked great to not just scuff sand but also to sand down high spots throughout. The M12 line is perfect for this type of detail sander and I’m so glad to have found it for a great price on Amazon. I was nervous about getting a knock off, but it was 100% genuine Milwaukee and came with an assortment of sanding pads. Excellent tool and I’ve used it more already than I thought I would have.

Super convenient and easy. I love love this sander. For small quick jobs, like sanding nail hole fillers on trim. Just cant beat this thing (and predominantly use a surfprep 3x4). Its so lightweight and did i say convenient. It does get noticeably hot but not a bother to me. If I ever loose or break this one, Ill have another on order within minutes. Just a great sander (and this from a Dewalt guy).

First and foremost, there is no sander like this. Go ahead and try to find one. Not only is it one of a kind, it is the best performing sander I have in my workshop. They are so useful that I run four per session; one for each grit. I run them each for about 35 minutes and I add a lot of pressure. I use four because they get hot with the pressure I add. I'm pretty sure I would stop selling three of my products if this sander did not exist.

I started refinishing my entryway (door, 2 side lights, transom and windows above the whole thing) last fall. Ran out of time. Want to get it done quickly as soon as the weather is ideal. I have been using a mixture of chemical strippers, files, picks, sand paper, tiny sanding sticks... if it isn't powered, I have employed it. Progress is slow and dreadful. I have one of those black and decker sanders that takes different sized/shaped papers and I feel like if I need a power tool that should be enough but it is just so hard to control that thing. This door is 100 years old, was already re-finished poorly once - there is no wiggle room to mess up. But I went out on a limb and decided to try this... I bought the tool only since I already have a few m12 tools. Look. It's amazing. It is so much easier to control than the B&D thing. The sandpaper is comes with is that meshy stuff - I have used this type from a brand called Diablo. You can blow the dust off and keep using it a long, long time compered to the sand-glued-to-paper stuff. I can get into tighter areas and be done faster than I would have by hand. It's not going to eliminate all my problem spots but I can already tell it is going to speed things up considerably, especially the transom area which has been more protected from the weather so the remaining finish is in good shape and a lot harder to remove - it's more resistant to the chemical stuff and requires a lot of manual power while up on a ladder. I did not relish the idea of using a corded, vibrating, hard to control tool while up on a ladder! This thing vibrates like any powered tool but it's very, very managable. Tool arrived brand new and in a sealed box - I saw some other reviews mention concerns over that. I love it and wish I had bought it sooner.

Simplemente maravillosa lijadora, es sorprendente la perfeccion de esta herramienta, lija fabuloso, no vibra casi nada, la utilizo con una pila de 4 amp. y le dura muchisimo, lija estupendo y las lijas que trae son excelentes, encargare mas de esas lijas.

Why did you choose this product over others?: Milwaukee products are always a good buy and this little sander was ideal for the job. Compact and lightweight which is just what I needed. It comes with a variety of pads.

Me encanto, pienso pedir 2 más es de mucha utilidad para el detalle. Deberían vender los repuestos no los encuentro. Esta bien la maquina pero es por prevención.
