If you're like me, you're probably researching every single electric kettle on Amazon. I'll save you a few hours and say, this is a perfect kettle. According to Amazon I viewed over 130+ electric kettles during my research. Each time I thought I found the right one, I'd read a comment about it rusting, or inconsistent water temperatures. At one point I discovered this Ninja kettle and despite the (somewhat) higher price than competitors, I decided it seemed to have all the features we need for brewing the perfect tea and coffee. It can bring a full pot of water to boil in less than 5 minutes (we're at sea level) which is perfect for sanitizing baby bottles or brewing pour-over coffee. The digital temperature gauge is awesome: no more guessing whether your coffee or tea water is overheated or too cool. According to three digital thermometers, this kettle heats to the exact temperature you set it for. The pre-set temperature options for various teas and coffee are a huge time saver. Just push one button and you've got the exact heat you need for a perfect cup. I've been trying to learn how to brew a pour-over coffee and now I can't use temperature as an excuse for why my coffee doesn't taste right. In summary, I'm so glad I spent just a little more money to get the perfect electric kettle. In a world where there's tech for simplifying everything, who knew you could actually get excited for a tea kettle?

I drink tea everyday (and coffee for my husband) so an electric kettle is a staple in our home. Our previous dial temperature controlled kettle we've had for over 10 years finally started leaking it was time for a new one. After a lot of research I went with this kettle because it seemed similar to the ultra high end Breville one in terms of features, but for a fraction of the cost. So far so good, we've had it for 2 weeks. Here are our likes and dislikes... What we like: -Temperature is accurate (we tested with our digital thermometer) -I love the instant read temp (as soon as you set it onto the base it says the temp!) -I love all the different settings and that they are actual buttons (although it's flat, you can feel a little click when you depress them). -My husband needs 180 for his coffee and I need various temps for black or green tea so he was always sticking a thermometer in our old kettle. I love this because I can know what the temp is immediately. -I love that you can see how much water is in it! -It pours very well! -Handle and lid are cool to the touch. -I like the the way it looks, the blue color is nice, and the base isn't crazy huge. Dislikes: -I think it feels really heavy when it's full. I would not recommend this for someone who is elderly as it requires a little wrist strength to pour when full. -We don't like the beep it makes (it's not loud, just a weird series of tones) when it's reached the desired temp

This is a great kettle. Several things make it great. Nearly all stainless steel construction and clear push button controls are two of them. The third thing I like about this kettle is that you select the temperature you want the water to be and when the water gets to that temperature the kettle stops heating. There is also an option for the kettle to "hold", which means that the kettle power will cycle on and off just enough to keep the water at the temperature you selected. So civilized.

For me, this is the *PERFECT* electric kettle. After EXTENSIVELY looking at electric kettles (translation: going down an adhd-fueled hyperfocus rabbit hole🙃), this was the first one I came across with all the required and bonus features I was looking for in a kettle that also didn't cost over $100 (I bought mine on sale for $69.99 on Black Friday). The absolute best feature for me is the minimum fill. While the fill window starts at two cups, the actual minimum fill for the kettle is only one (there are min and max markers inside the kettle; the min falls below the fill window). Most electric kettles have a minimum fill of 2 cups, which is too much for me 75% of the time. As an added bonus, boiling one cup from room temperature is FAST! In my experience, boiling takes less than 90 seconds. Basically, by the time I get my mug out and ready, the water is ready to pour. Other features I appreciate about this kettle are that it's easy to use and clean, aesthetically pleasing, and has minimal plastic parts. Some added context for my review: - I've been using the product for four months now. - I use the kettle often, but not daily. - I primarily boil 1-2 cups at a time but have also had no issues when using its full capacity. - I never boil anything other than plain water. - I am a stickler for using ONLY purified or distilled water (we have really hard well water that would absolutely this thing otherwise).

I debated about getting an electric kettle because I’m a big tea drinker, and I almost purchased the Cuisinart kettle because of the good reviews, but then I stumbled upon the Ninja. I love it! It looks very stylish, heats the water up fast, is easy to handle and pour, and the sides aren’t hot to the touch. I also like the lighted water level gauge on the kettle. I did notice it takes a few seconds for the water level gauge to register the water as it’s going into the kettle. So you may end up with a little more water in the kettle than you anticipated since there is a slight lag. It looks cool but it’s not something I really use. I measure the water level in the kettle the way mama and my grandma and my great grandma did- I look inside the kettle. One of the negative review points about the Cuisinart kettle was that the labeling on the kettle wears off. Since everything is labeled on the base plate, I don’t think it will be an issue with this kettle. I do also like the preset heating functions depending on the type of tea you are making. The only reason I didn’t give it five stars is because the hold temp function only works if I shut the base plate off after heating my water and then turn it back on. Then it will hold the temp for 30 min if you press the hold temp button. I am happy with my purchase!

I have been a longtime Cuisinart user, but decided to take a chance on this Ninja pot when the base of my other pot fell to the floor. The Ninja was on sale and it had a variable heat setting, as well as presets. The difference? Rather than the controls being on the pot itself, the base provides a sturdy foundation with easy access to temp options. The pot is very light, which was a little worrisome when I first took it out of the box. That worry was quickly dispelled, however, as a pot filled with hot water is even easier to handle now. I’ve had the pot for several months and have no complaints. Heats quickly, accurately, has a “hold temp” feature, and a safety shut-off. All the typical presets for tea are available — green, white, oolong, black, and herbal, as well as a setting for coffee and boil. I really do love the added option of being able to vary the temperature myself on this pot, though. Lastly, the color is a a beautiful metallic blue gray. I hope to enjoy this pot for a long time!

Lasted 1 year, until a month ago we loved everything about this tea kettle, heated really fast, stylish and holds the temp. Now it’s one year old and stops heating in the middle of a cycle, it boils water rather than heats to 200 of 205 for coffee and black tea. Maybe my expectations are off, I believe $100 electric tea kettle should last more than a year. We have other Ninja products we been very pleased with, we purchased this product based on the longevity of those products. I ordered a new tea kettle this morning, and it was not a ninja for half the price of this kettle. If you this ninja tea kettle, I’m convinced in about a year you wake up one morning and you won’t have any hot water the warned.

Estéticamente me encantó. Discreta y sofisticada. Pero lo mejor es el control de temperatura y su rapidez. Necesitaba el control de temperaturas para el mate o café y es fabulosa. Se puede cambiar a Celsius apretando dos botones en simultáneo y además mantiene el la temperatura por 30 minutos (seleccionando este programa)

Es muy bonita, resistente, facil de usar, presionando el + y el de mantener temperatura durante 5 segundos se cambia la unidad de grados. Puedes calentar el agua o preparar el te directamente
