Love this product so much! I am a natural, VERY fair redhead and I have tried numerous self tanners, most of which leave me with an orangey color or with a terrible/super noticeable scent. This product has a decent smell and the best part is it doesn't look like tanner at all, just me with a natural sunkissed glow. I personally like the deep version the best to achieve this. Disclaimer, the product does go on clear which can be a deterrent to some, but I promise if you follow the directions, lotion your more susceptible areas, ie wrists, elbows, knees, etc. you will get such a gorgeous effortless looking color! I have other lux unfiltered products and they are all 10/10. You definitely get what you pay for with this brand and it is very apparent that they care about producing the best, highest quality products possible.

It's a nice creamy lotion and gives a nice color I ordered Santel and it works well with my skin tone,however you can't wash your hands fast enough and they are stained for days ..how embarrassing. Otherwise it's great . hopefully they'll create one that doesn't stain.

it goes on clear which is good but i waited for it to completely dry and didn’t get my skin wet at all, and i woke up with a line on my left thigh. how weird. i didn’t really itch or anything. it works good, no smell, just don’t like that it goes on uneven like this. this was before showering. looked the same after.

This is the self-tanner of your dreams! I am not even kidding. This is so easy to use, goes on like a dream and gives me the most beautiful tan I have ever had. It smells divine too.

Not very impressed by this product. As someone who has tried many self tanning products, this product although pricey seemed so promising. I finally splurged and bought the lotion with the highest hopes that I too would finally find the perfect self tanning product after years of searching. But it was not as I had hoped after all. The product went on a little uneven, it faded in patches, and the overall color was not the natural glow I had read so much about. Not to mention it absolutely transferred into my garments even though I waited until it was fully dry. Maybe it has worked better for other people, but for me not so much.

It’s not a terrible self tanner as it is. But it is definitely not “gradual” if you are more on the pale side. Also the smell - it starts off smelling like wonderful vanilla but about 3 hours later it wreaks of that classic self tan smell. It’s also hard to not miss spots because the application is clear. Again, as a normal self tanner it’s really not terrible but I was specifically looking for a gradual more subtle tan and after one application I’m as dark as I’d feel comfortable being.

so the color is gorgeous… if you apply it properly with cheap gloves on you won’t stain your hands and won’t get streaks but please be mindful WHERE YOU DONT put it it doesn’t tan.. a lot of reviews i’m seeing looks like y’all didn’t even put the lotion on that area.. rub it in like you are putting on your regular lotion and give it about 15 minutes to dry.. now… IT DOES transfer onto clothing. just an FYI.. and if you sweat it definitely is coming off a little. but this is great for a night out a weekend by the pool etc. the smell is fine and the shimmer is gorgeous. i got the deep because i have a light tan to begin with.. i suggest you buying CLASSIC if you are PAPER WHITE.

💛If you’d like an in depth review from a very experienced tanner~ I’ve tried most of the self tans on the market at this point in my life, this is a really good tan imo I really like & plan on repurchasing. The only quarrel I have with this product is that I use the “deep” and its a good shade for me, as someone with a naturally light-medium skin tone that’s on the more olive or warmer side - (it really isn’t that deep/ too dark of a tan so I wouldn’t want to use the classic versions) unfortunately deep is only available in 1 scent and it’s STANKS. Not like fake tan.. they did a great job with the dha formulation in this product, it’s just the added scent/fragrance smells so bad to me especially as it develops. If you do not like strong fragrance or Santal you’ll greatly dislike the smell of this and the smell it leaves on your sheets and clothes or anything it comes into contact with . I feel like santal fragrance has been a major trend the last 2/3 years in beauty products so I respect what they were doing with the fragrance formula, but it just smells so awful to me. As it develops It also smells quite vinegar- like, and the fragrance is so sweet and stinky it makes me nauseated. It’s truly a lovely tan despite that.. I’d love it if they could make other scents or unscented deep lotion. I plan on trying the foam next as I can’t continue to buy this if the only deep version is this santal scent. If you are sensitive to fragrance this may not be the right product for you. Solid 4/5 though, great consistency, moisturizing but not as sticky as other tans, nice color, - only major mishap is the fragrance to me. Some reviews have said it’s streaky but I think that may be user error, or application with a mit while using a Lotion never fares well imo. Best to use your hands for lotion, and a mit with foam - take your time with application, you will probably get some slighty stained hands even if you scrub them very well after application (I’ve tried scrubbing them with multiple soaps and even glycolic face wash after application lol) . It’s just the nature of the beast if you want a flawless body application, but you could always try a mit- I did and I just think it applies much more evenly with bare hands. It doesn’t really bother me that bad but I know that bothers other people a lot so I get it. Also, I’m not docking any stars for this but it will stain your sheets, so be careful in that regard. I feel like that’s to be expected with a deep tanning product though no matter what the marketing says. It’s no biggie to me I just sleep on a blanket the nights I apply this. But over-all this is one of my favorite tans I’ve tried in recent years, hope they come out with more fragrances or fragrance free 🫶
