I truly do not need any eye shadow as i have one beloved Nars set that i have not yet opened and another newish Lancome set i got but don't love the colors on me. However this price was good and the colors were definitely my style, so i got it. (Many of my top eye shadows are discontinued & replaced with shades that are highly unflattering on me so if i find good colors, i have to buy!) I have now worn a number of the colors over the past few days and i'm pleased. I do like Laura Geller cosmetics (I have various cream and powder foundations and blushes already) but this is my first Geller eyeshadow. I have dark hair and eyes and neutral/olive skin. The darker shades are nice as a soft eyeliner, which is generally my preferred method of applying liner because it looks much softer on my 50 something year old face, and it's just nice as an everyday look. The shimmery ones aren't too glittery, the colors last and it washes off easily enough. Also, a minor detail--the packaging is pretty so it would be a nice gift and it looks pretty in your cosmetic collection.

This is the BEST Laura Geller eye shadow I ever purchased. While this is my favorite brand for powder foundation, bronzer and blush, I've never been impressed with her eye shadow. But it was at a great price for Black Friday and the color story spoke to me. When I first opened it, I literally gasped. This is stunning. There are a couple of shades on the warmer side which will make for great transition colors. The shimmers are exquisite. The quality is good and I did not find it to be particularly dry as some said. The best part is the color story! I have several LG shadow palettes and this Roses and Taupes is the best one ever! One of the shades was cracked through delivery/handling but it did not make a big mess and I easily repressed it using alcohol and a tissue. If you love pinks and taupes, this is your jam!

Update! Even though I wanted more of a bubble gum pink palette, these shadows are gorgeous, and I am glad that I got them. My skin tone is light/ medium with yellow/olive undertones, the shadows are buttery and pigmented without being chalky- they blend easily. I was able to create a soft but obvious pink-ish look and feel that this palette is super underrated. Original review: Full disclosure: this is only a review about the color story, not performance as I have not tried it yet. I bought this because I wanted to add light pinks to my collection, as I mostly have browns and purples. The matte shadows in this are almost all some shade of taupe (yes I know it's in the name) and a couple of the shimmers are some version of pink. That said, they look nice and I do look forward to using them to create a work friendly look. Will update after I use them.

I'm a recently retired RN & very "particular" as to what products I use on my skin, esp around my eyes, the "WINDOW TO THE SOUL"!! So I have bought so many products by Laura Geller from QVC, but I just LOVE LOVE LOVE using my Amazon Prime to buy known product lines when I can. This eye shadow is every bit as good as any makeup I've bought at all the upscale department stores and QVC. She makes IMPECCABLE products, almost all made in Italy, and I ADORE these colors in this palette. Please keep them coming to us here and at the Q, Laura, your products are the VERY best in America!!

Love this palette, great colors

Normally when you buy a set of shadows there are 3 or 4 colors that just really don't work well. This set has vibrant fall colors which all work with each other. There is no odd color. Excellent adhesion, no creasing and still looks great after 16 hours. Works extremely well with hazel eyes. They are worth every penny.

This eye shadow kit has a lot of choices... a lot of shimmer. Nice mirror inside. My skin tone is medium and I felt like I had to apply a lot of the product. It could use more pigment. Fairer skin folks might not have a problem.

This Laura Geller eyeshadow collection is stunning in every way. The mattes are extra-pigmente and the shimmers are stunning. This creamy textured and long wearing, crease proof eyeshadow collection is especially elegant on Redheads with Green eyes as well as any other eye color and complexion. This has become my new favorite for everyday and special occasions.

Color payoff is good but the formula is a bit too powdery for me. I wanted a creamy satin-like finish. But its still very good on my lids
