It feels soft and works great. My boy still wear diaper and sleep with us on our bed, but the diaper leaks sometimes and he will woke up and piss off in the middle of the night, because the sheet is wet, and I don't want wake my hard working hubby up to change the sheet, so this mat is really helpful. But the only thing I'm not happy is, it's a little bit short on our crib.
