Also depends on what your walls are made of as to how clean the drilling of the holes is. Clean (smooth) hole through narrow block walls will allow connector through with smaller diameter bit. My rough masonry thickish walls needed more drill diameter to allow for inherent twist of the cable and something blunt to push / pull the connector through with! I found 18mm SDS Drill bit gave me a big enough hole, but then went back with a 25mm to actually get it all in / through / done ? Would be useful if the cable supplier provided this information and or a (optional) tool / widget to get the connectors straight to the cable and through walls without having to risk the push / pull damaging connections on / in the connector ? Obvoiusly at 25mm you then need plenty of waterproof mastic etc to seal around the cable both sides afterwards!.. Good luck - was well worth it for me ! Wireless just didn't cut it, neither did "powerline", gonna get myself a couple more exterior Cat cables to use up the four ports on the router! I get 107mb/s at the router, this drops to 77-82 with 25 m of exterior cable, wireless was less than 40 and powerline about 6!.... Hope that helps **Q: Is this solid core or standed?** A: Solid core. It is basically like normal CAT-6 cable with an additional outer sheath to weatherproof it. This makes it stiffer but stronger and gives it a wider minimum bending radius. The cable quality is very good. **Q: For broadband internet speeds of 210Mbps over 50m from garden office to house, is this possible and stable ?** A: Mine is working fine at 50m from my house **Q: How big does the hole have to be the pull the the cable and ethernet head through?** A: 12mm hole would be sufficient.
