Great product for DIYer or small shop.
So Back in the 1980’s I had a cabinet shop that I sold in 1995. I had a large hinge machine to do this step for door hinges. I wish I invented this jig! It is very well thought out. I love the quality and ease of use. I now do small projects for myself and my family, I have to say it works great! Yes there are no directions to use it but you don’t need directions. It’s very easy set up and easy to use. The bit is very sharp and very accurate. The only problem is that the tolerance on the bit and the jig are very tight which makes the bit seem dull trust me it’s not! It’s not the bit. After a few uses it will free up. I put a little bit of oil on it and it helped. Definitely recommend.

Convenient
This is a great little jig. Made locating the holes in the cabinet doors easy. There's a lot of adjustments that can be made for just the right fit. I took a scrap peace of wood to do samples on to get the jig set up were I needed it to be. Overall I liked using it.

Works good once you know how. Not super precision.
You'll need to download instructions, the company couldn't spare the extra dime to throw a couple sheets of paper in the box. The jig is solid, nicely machined. The drill bit is cheap but it does cut cherry. I don't think it will last long in oak. The only real problem is with precision. There are different holes to use to adjust the standoff distance and they're labeled 3-6mm. I need 6mm but using the 6mm holes only gives me about 4.5mm. The 3mm is just under 2mm. Maybe Chinese millimeters are smaller than the ones we use here? They did fix the spelling of "distance" that is engraved 2x on the jig, which is nice. They just didn't bother to change the picture on Amazon.

Works well
Works well. Was not very intuitive out of the box - no instructions whatsoever - but after a little trial and error to figure out which hole to use for your hinge application and it worked great.

All metal - no instructions
What do I love about it: It is all metal! My old one I have is plastic and I always worried about the precision of it. It comes with the Drill bits for making the center hole and the predrilling of the screw holes.it is very adjustable using screw in stops. What was frustrating on this: It didn't come with instructions. Yes, it isn't all that hard to figure out if you have done these type of hinges before but if your new at this it could be a problem. BUT I did find that they have a video of how to set it up and use it with the advertisement here. Watch the video, it helps. I was going to reduce the stars by one for no instructions but then the video was good so give it a full rating as it is built really well. This should last me a long time.

Design flaw
The media could not be loaded. Dislike need to return gets stuck on but will not reset position

Has a design flaw
Pros: the fit and finish on this is top-notch; high quality anodizing, machining is spot on and accurate. Everything fits together as it should. Thumb screws are nicely finished, no sharp edges.Cons: there is a fatal flow with the design/size of the snap ring that holds the bearings in place for the forstener bit. The ears on the ring come in contact with the shank of the bit and cause galling of the shaft, and the bit isn't then able to slide up and down. I spent about an hour fiddling with it, removing the snap ring and using a dremel tool to grind the ears down. I had to remove the galling with 600 grit sandpaper. Very frustrating, especially given the quality of the rest of the tool. Also, no instructions at all!
