I've tried a couple of these Brands this worked well. I've only used it on one trip but it kept my stuff compressed and intact for four or five days and that's all you can ask for. These bags won't last forever but they are an amazing way to get more stuff onto your carry-on. The clips that help to seal them are easy to fall off and lose so just pay attention to them. You could seal these without the clips though

I'm sure there are some people that would like separate their outfits of the day into different bags and maybe pack their clothes that way for the trip. But I just really use these to make it easier for me to take a much smaller bag on a trip Japan from nyc for 2 weeks.I have not used these many times in a row so I cannot speak to their durability long-term but for the few times that I did use them they were great. Be warned though because you can fit more stuff in a smaller bag It does not mean the smaller bag is going to be lighter, quite the opposite.

These were OK but they do not flatten out as well as the vacuum bags do. Which does make sense. I had to have my son sit on it and help me roll it to get it anywhere near flat.

Works great. Saves a lot of space. Fit more in your luggage.

I traveled with these between two cities over two months, then came home and used them for linens. I absolutely love these bags.

I just used several of these compression bags on a domestic flight -- long weekend trip. They functioned really well. Just don't lose the clips that are needed to seal the bags tightly. ( I would store clips inside the bag when you take your clothes out.) Two observations: The plastic that the bags are made of is not particularly thick. Don't wear rings or other jewelry when rolling them up with your clothes inside, or you will puncture the bag from the get-go. You'll lose functionality. That said, unless you take really good care of these bags (say, on a trip that includes constant packing and re-packing), they probably won't last very long. The order included multiple bags, some of which seemed HUGE and not real practical for smaller suitcases, but I can use them for household seasonal storage of things, I guess. According to maker, the bags CAN be repaired if punctured, but not everyone carries tape with them when they travel, and I would think it would take too much time trying to track down where the puncture hole is. All in all, though, for the $ and the fact that NO vacuum is needed, this was a good value and they worked really well. It might be wise to find room in your luggage to take a few extra bags with you. The clips are one-size and can be used on any size bag in the assortment.
