Simple, Educational, and Keeps Little Hands Busy! ๐
This Montessori toy is a wonderful learning tool for toddlers ages 1โ3. The wooden pieces are smooth, sturdy, and perfectly sized for little hands, making it safe and easy to use. It helps children learn colors, shapes, matching, and fine motor skills while encouraging independent play. My toddler loves sorting and stacking the pieces, and I love that it keeps them engaged without screens. The quality feels solid and well-made, perfect for everyday play. I highly recommend this Montessori toy & I hope this review is helpful ๐๐ป

Wonderful learning toy for toddlers! Great gift!
Excellent sorting toy for toddlers! The wood is sturdy and sooth (i.e., no splinters). They will survive some accidental spills (even the cards are spill resistant). The lid is reversible--one side is for sorting shapes by color, the other for sorting the pieces by shape. The shapes come in small durable Ziploc-type bags to store pieces, and the little bags are easily stored inside the sorting box. The shapes are colorful: each shape comes in fives colors, and they come in pairs. They are sturdy and smooth. One side of the box shows illustration for sorting by color, and the opposite side has monochrome illustrations for sorting by shape. The toy is a nice size for toddlers. The toy comes with vinyl-coated cards: Parents will have fun helping toddlers find the shape that corresponds to the shapes on the cards. Their are cards ranging from easy to complicated: Toddlers easily match shape and size; There are also challenges on the reverse for complex thinking (e.g., Identify which colored shape is missing/determine the pattern.) I wish this toy had been available for my children! I had to make my own 'toys' to achieve the same end. This toy really helps with dexterity. My granddaughter is 2 years old. I wish that I had noticed this toy and a few others (see my other feedback comments), when she was younger. I know without a doubt that my children would have been able to do these at one year of age. (I had to ferret out poker chips, craft shapes, boxes & stencils, etc...) Yes, you should use these toys with parental supervision. Toddlers love playing with their parents. I know that some toddlers put things into their mouths; so use these toys, while you are supervising and playing with them. The price is right. This toy will be an investment and will survive many children. Buy an extra to give as a gift. The only caution I have is this: the sorting slots in the lid are narrow, but some tiny tots might try to jam their fingers into the slots, which are not as smooth as the box and pieces. So, supervise the tiny ones, while they play.

Nice and well made.
This is a favorite choice among my students. I like it, well made nice wooden box and choice of sorting by shape or color, and they can count the pieces too. Very nice to have for a sensory break.

Good learning toy
Love everything about this except storage. I wish the lid latched somehow so you could store the pieces inside. Right now it just lifts off. Also needs a place to store the learning cards. You have an indent on the other side for them, but nothing to hold them in place. Like how you have so many different ways to learn from this (colors, numbers, shapes, sorting, patterns etc!

My grandson loved this toy. He has learned all his colors and shapes. It did not take long at all. I am late with this review. I bought this a year or so ago. He was much younger he is 3 and a half. We used this when he was close to two years. I love these Montessori learning toys.

Great quality and price. Toddler loves it!
My toddler has had this toy for months and itโs still one of his favorites! Great quality. It taught him colour sorting. We are working on shape sorting now. Started using it around 18 months old and for him, that was a good age to start colour sorting. He learnt within a few days of trying with this toy. Great quality. I highly recommend it. The price is good compared to competitors
