Satisfied
I like this because it's a natural product and I'm using it to reduce odor in my shoes when I sweat in desert. The odor is gone. I've substituted baby powder with Pure Clay. Thank you.

Cavemen and cavewomen beware
Let me tell you about the body mud that will make you feel like a caveman (or cavewoman) discovering the joys of personal hygiene for the first time. When I first heard about this stuff, I was a bit skeptical. I mean, who wants to slather themselves in mud like a pig wallowing in the mud? But let me tell you, this body mud is the real deal. It's like taking a luxurious spa treatment and compressing it into a jar of mud. When you apply this mud to your skin, it's like a magical transformation takes place. All your worries and stress just melt away, and you're left with the feeling of pure relaxation. And let's not forget about the added bonus of feeling like a little kid playing in the mud (without the mess, of course). But the real magic happens when you rinse off the mud. Your skin is left feeling like silk - smooth and soft to the touch. It's like you've just shed a layer of old, tired skin and revealed a brand new, glowing layer underneath. I have to admit, I was a bit hesitant at first. I mean, I don't want to go around smelling like a mud pit. But fear not, my friends, this body mud has a delightful scent that's like a combination of lavender and sunshine. In conclusion, if you're looking for a luxurious spa treatment that's affordable and doesn't require leaving your house, then this body mud is the product for you. Just be prepared to feel like a caveman (or cavewoman) discovering the joys of personal hygiene for the first time - in the best possible way, of course.

Pretty Versatile Stuff!
I googled Calcium Bentonite Clay, and find a lot of reports on how good it is for you, and how many ways it can be beneficial. The main purpose is detoxification. I don't know if that's what's going on, but there seems to be a lot of evidence on the web that validates this. I bought the body mud powder, but this brand also sells a face mask powder, and a powder that you mix with water and drink. There are no directions on the jar. I thought I saw a QR code on the Amazon ad a few days ago, but when I looked for it a few minutes ago, I didn't see it. But I'm sure you can get to their webpage by googling, and that's where the QR code takes you. Now this is very interesting: All of these products are made with Calcium Bentonite Clay, and nothing else. Since this body clay is a fine powder, I presume that there's no difference among the products. The difference is in the directions that I saw on their page. For the body mask powder, you mix it with an equal part of water, The face mask calls for a lighter mixture (and although you can use water, it says you can use cider vinegar instead, if you'd like). The drink uses a *much* weaker dilution. You can also put it in a bath and soak, but I didn't want to deal with the residue on the tub, afterwards. I put this on my neck and chest, the way they directed (I spread the mixture on some cloth or gauze, put it in place, and covered it with saran wrap). I presume that the wrap is to keep it in place, because the mixture is *very* thick, and dries out quickly, even under the plastic. Some of the sites on google note that your skin turns red when you use this. I noticed that it was normal when I removed the mask, but within about half a minute, it did start to redden a bit. I did notice that my skin felt a little softer, after I took a shower, but my neck is just as wrinkly as ever. If you're looking for something for detoxification, either externally or internally, I'd say go to the websites that discuss it, and go from there. If you're looking for something to make your skin softer, this is OK. And the price is much less than some of the cream and lotion face masks I've seen.

Makes a great mask
Taking the pure clay powder and placing it in a disposable cup I meter about a half cup of the powder and slowly add water to hydrate it to a very thick paste. Applying a thin layer to the face is easy and simple when it is as a paste. I normally leave it on for at least 15 minutes and then wash it off in the shower. It feels kind of like a very soft mud when wearing it. As for if it helps? It seems to help clean out the pores on my face and leaves my face less oily and very soft feeling. It does not seem to help hydrate, it seems to be more of a mud that draws things out of your skin. A light face lotion after and my skin feels amazing. Do I use it every dayโฆ no. The prep kinda takes a little bit of time since it is a powder. I guess I could just mix up a batch in a jar and use as needed but it does not seem to be necessary for my skin (and it might dry my skin out). All in all this is a great pure clay powder. Iโd recommend it to anyone that wants to try out a pure clay mud for the face or if you want put it all over.

LARGE BOTTLE
I ordered the large bottle (2lbs). It is a light aiy powder that mixes easily in water for a mud mask or add to water for physical regeneration. Great product! Taking a bentonite clay bath is a great way to remove heavy metals from the body. It magnetically pulls toxins, heavy metals and wastes from the body. While the water is running, grab a non-metal bowl. Gradually mix three to four cups of clay with warm water until the mixture becomes smooth. Then, slowly pour this mixture into the bath of warm water. To make a mask mix one teaspoon of bentonite clay and one teaspoon of raw honey in a non-metal bowl using a non-metal spoon. Slowly add in one-fourth teaspoon of apple cider vinegar until you reach the right consistency. You can even add in a few drops of essential oil at the end to enhance the effects.

Hopefully helping me detox from mold exposure
This is a big tub of clay. I hope the company website is correct in that by sourcing it from way underground it has been protected from contamination in our modern world. The website also says that even though it may naturally contain trace amounts of heavy metals, because the clay hasn't been treated the metals are tightly bound to it and not able to be absorbed by the body. I have been taking a 1/4 tsp in a little water every morning at the recommendation of my functional medicine practitioner for mycotoxin binding (recommended I try clay, not this brand specifically). I admit I'm a bit suspicious about the whole process but I have been feeling so crappy I'm willing to try just about anything. I have not noticed any side effects and am feeling better after being on my new detox/supplement regimen. It is not as awful as I thought it would be drinking it, just kind of chalky but no real taste. Mixes easily. I now have an almost lifetime supply to make face masks with too!

Great Bentonite Clay
I love using bentonite clay masks. The powder is loose and mixes nicely with water, though it does get a bit tough to mix if you add too much water too quickly. Not sure where this is sourced from, but I haven't had any adverse side effects from external use. I'm about skeptical about consuming this, though I know people use it as a binder to help remove toxins while using an infrared sauna. Overall, I am happy with this product!

Organic, easy to mix, apply and rinse
I liked the packaging of this easy to use Calcium Bentonite Clay Powder. This clay powder is organic and natural so you can use without much worry about skin reactions. I used first on my hand to see if I had any issues with it before applying to my face. It is definitely great for anyone with oily skin as it mattes quickly and makes your skin feel smooth and firm. I liked it in both the shower as well as added to bath water. It leaves no residue and rinses easily away. As a mud mask I mixed in a bowl using filtered water and applied using my fingers and avoiding my eyes. I liked how well it mixes and my t-zone, especially around my nose, looked less oily. It also shrinks pores and gives skin a glow. I think using this as a spa treatment once or twice a week will work wonders but overuse might make skin prone to dryness. It has no dyes or perfumes and is very effective in moderation.
