I had a flat bed put on my truck and I wanted to put a plug in with my ball and this made it super easy to do. The plugs fit right up to the plug coming off my truck and was able to plug right up to the plug on the back of the bed. And it’ll be super easy if I ever want to take this off and change it to a different truck. It works amazing ! A very thought out design!

Very easy to install and seems well built! All the light and blinkers worked so it does what it’s supposed too! Seems like a solid product, would for sure recommend!

This is the way to go if you need to replace your seven pin RV whip. Fit flawlessly in the bed of my truck and easily plugged into my existing one on my 2019 F350. Would recommend.

Very easy DIY plug and play installation and works great. Whole time spent on installing was about 30mins start to finish.

The wiring harness seems like a good product, but the installation kit needs improvement. It's a simple install and shouldn't take you long to complete. I installed the product last night. I watched some installation videos, which made the instructions easier to follow. You will need a drill and a 2 1/8" hole saw. One of the connectors didn't quite fit into the back of my factory 7-plug receptacle. It snapped together after using a razor blade to shave about 1 mm from the fastening clip. This may have been an issue with my factory plug, however. There was a rubber o-ring and quite a bit of dielectric grease in the old plug, which may have prevented the connectors from fully mating. The factory box was not taped closed and was missing the four self-tapping screws, so I had to make a run to the hardware store. The box was lightly damaged. My assumption is that the box was dropped at some point and the screws didn't make it back in the box. They weren't in the Amazon packaging, so they must have disappeared before shipping. Other reviews suggest the provided screws are too short for spray-in lined beds, so they may have been useless to me anyway. I also had trouble with the zip ties. It was 40 degrees Fahrenheit during installation, so the plastic zip ties were brittle. The little tab inside the zipper broke on all five ties that I tried. I ended up using Harbor Freight ties instead. I was surprised to find that they were better than the Curt-supplied ties. In my opinion, the factory zip-ties should be substantial enough to hold up to low and high temperatures. This is a product for pickup trucks, after all. Anyway, I'd recommend the product as long as you're willing to supplement the mounting hardware.

Bought this when I bought our 5th wheel for my 2011 Ram 2500. This is the easiest way to add an in bed 7 way plug. You simply unplug from the back of the 7-way on the bumper, plug both ends of this to where you unplugged and the end of the harness you unplugged. Then simply drill the proper hole in the sidewall of the truck to mount your plug. I'm always nervous when it comes to drilling holes in my truck, but as long as you use proper tools and follow the directions it's really not a big deal. One word of caution, but make sure you try to look up from underneath and be sure you can both get the harness down to the back bumper and that there is enough depth to put the harness where you want it on the side of the truck. I was pretty close to getting it where the plug would have been pressing on the outside metal of that truck side panel where I mounted it. Luckily, it was just perfect, but it definitely could have been a big problem. Other than that, it's been flawless working with our trailer. Haven't had disconnect or anything as of yet, so I have to say it's a pretty good quality product.

This is MUCH better than having to splice wires together. Relatively quick and easy. Took me about an hour. Someone more mechanically inclined could probably get this done in 1/2 that time. The only difficult part was drilling that big hole in the side of my truck. I think that hurt my feelings more than anything. But other than that, you just slide the wire harness down through the hole, find a route to the bumper connector, unplug it, plug this in, zip-tie it up and it's done. It was a lot simpler than I anticipated. On my 2020 Ram 2500 I lowered the spare tire just to have more room to move, and see clearly, but that may not be necessary on all trucks. Anyway, if you don't want your fifth wheel cable dangling outside the truck while you drive potentially scratching cup your tailgate, or worse, getting caught up in something, I highly recommend this Curt Extension. Everything you need (except the drill) is in the box!

fantastic upgrade for a guy who spends a lot of time camping and hates having the trailer cord over the tailgate. make sure you have clearance behind for it, I installed it just over my wheel well for easy access and now I can load wood and other camping stuff behind my 5th wheel hitch after hooking up

Does not fit 2025 Ram box factory made trailer plug hole. Lots of wite length and plug and ppay worked well. Needs to include mounting plate for factory box hole.
