Sejong Korean 1A: English Edition(세종한국어 1A 영문판)

After using the original Sejong Korean books (first edition with CD, then without CD), this totally new from the scratch version is very nice. The pictures, texts, QR code for audio tracks, everything feels modern. It has a clean look. It has though a different feel from the previous versions. Some grammatical elements swapped places so the order in which some grammar appears is now different.

The Sejong Korean books can be very difficult to find in the US. I'm thrilled to be able to get them So quickly. They look great and I've already downloaded the audio for them. I've struggled self-teaching to read and write Korean with other books, but needed to make some improvements. These will be a wonderful supplement. I will be ordering more as I progress. Very happy!!! 😊

The seller contacted me after my purchase to say they would be sending the updated (latest) version of the book. I hadn't realized there was a previous version so that immediately appreciated the seller's customer service skills. The book is wonderful, and I enjoy using it for my self-studies.

I ordered this book for a class that I am taking. I really like this book. It has the audio that you can download and the pages tell you what number file to use. Definitely suggest getting this book.

Just finished this textbook with my Korean tutor. I wish it had more structure within each unit. I want each unit to have a summary page with all the grammar not just vocabulary and a few phrases. It seems like the grammar is snuck into each unit at the top of pages where the page title is usually. Some important grammar is also offered as hints midway down some pages. I feel like I might be missing material sometimes, like maybe it’s offered in the official Sejong class or supplemental materials. I with this was more of a complete textbook like I’m used to from the American school language classes I grew up with. That said I it still helps me learn. You can view the textbook online, screenshot it and print it, but I think this is cheap enough and saved me the time. I prefer a hard copy to pair with the workbook I complete with an iPad and Apple Pencil so I can submit my homework to my tutor electronically.

Good study guide but I wish the shipping packaging was better. One of the corners of my book is pretty bent but still usable.

The item arrived on the stablished date. It arrived in excellent conditions. I’ve currently started learning this language and this is the book I need led for the course. It is very complete, has the scope and sequence of all the things you’ll be learning with this book. It has the answer keys at the back of the book. The audios are available with a QR code or you can get them on their website. I am really happy with my purchase.

Livro bem detalhado! Estou gostando de estudar com ele, porém já conhecia o alfabeto coreano e ficou mais fácil.

Wir benutzen das Buch sowie das Übungsbuch der Reihe an der Uni. Mir gefällt der Aufbau sehr gut. Man kann damit intuitiv arbeiten, sodass es auch für Autodidaktiker geeignet ist. Lösungen sind auch vorhanden.
