I like this set of tools. I've been getting more and more into wood carving. The tools are very, very sharp and very sturdy. The mallet that came with the set is just the right weight for my taste.

Nice chisels, needs sharpening more frequently than I like.

Why did you pick this product vs others?: These are great knock off tools, but dont expect to spend less than $100 on a set like this and get the quality of $500 Pfiel gouges. They work well, they are easy to sharpen, and the mallet is great quality. I rate them 3 stars because the handles are heavily varnished and the steel is pretty soft. They take an edge well, and hold an edge for a little while, but not nearly as long as I would deem satisfactory, but better than mild steel.

I was very happy with the tools cutting edges and handle length. Great value for the price.

Actually a good set. But I have no experience so for me it's good.

I am a beginner carver and this set gives me a great start to the different types of chisels. They seem to hold an edge and they feel of good quality. I would recommend.

Embora tenha achado os cabos um tanto frágeis as ferramentas entregam o cobrado. Tem boa dureza no aço.
