**Q: I see these are Japan design, but where are they manufactured?**
A: On the knife is stamped Japan doesn't say made in Japan so I'm not sure but they are wonderful knives very sharp I've gotten quite a few and I love them all I even gotten some for my son who cooks a lot and he really enjoys them too I have already purchased many for Christmas gifts it's a must try

A: I know right! Maybe because it is in the "style" of Huusk Japan knives. It's ok for a cooking knife and better as a camping cooking knife. Using it is like a cleaver rather than a carving knife.
