I originally purchased to use In cake mixture to increase color and flavor of pandan cake, I did still use pandan extract but overall happy how it turned out. As I had leftover I decided to try as a cold iced drink a 1 spoon no glass of water and like it how refreshing it taste

I thought I'd try something new for my baking, but I found the taste too earthy or a bit grassy for my taste. I'm glad I tried it, though. It's a green fine powder in a nice package.

Already tried several times to make pandan coffee and I love it. The only downside is it doesn’t desolve in water like matcha, so I need to use filter when making coffee with it instead of use with instant coffee. My friend said she need to borrow some to make pandan cake

There an after taste don't like it very much.

We grow these in NM and it takes effort to keep them alive year round. Wanted to see if there were options to have Pandan so purchased this brand here. Received today and gave it a good try. First impression of the opening bag, not much aromatic scent coming from powder. So heated filtered water in the kettle and made tea with 2 tspn, allowed to steep until cool enough to drink. Still nothing that resembled the beautiful fragrant smell of Pandan. The smell is pretty dead in my opinion. Nothing close to the real thing. I am not sure what their drying process is but it has definitely killed the Pandan leaves. We dry our leaves and also freeze them, when added to soups or making teas our Pandan is still very strong in flavor so I do not understand why this powder sucks.

I'm a cottage baker who specializes in sourdough - I like to get really creative with flavors & whatnot. Pandan was a spotlight in a featured green loaf for St. Patrick's Day & it was a HUGE hit. The green wasn't very vibrant after baking, but it was absolutely delicious! Ad flavor is definitely most important.

I baked with pandan for the first time. I made a pistachio cake that I wanted to make more green without using artificial food coloring. I ordered this product because it was not an extract or flavoring but real ground pandan leaves. The bag was rather small but enough for several cakes. Upon opening the bag, the smell is lovely - kind of floral and green plant. Tasting the powder directly was nice - I could tell this might make a good tea but not sure if it would stain your teeth - it is really green! I used two tsp per loaf of cake and the color was beautiful green. I did not detect any kind of flavor however. Next time I use it I will double the amount because it would be nice if the lovely flavor would come through. So now I am a big fan of pandan and this brand which I am ordering again. Making green Christmas cookies? Won't be using any chemical dyes anymore for that.

I am sure the product is great for cooking, but the smell is super overwhelming. I tried to use it as a natural dye, but the taste and smell were too strong for that purpose. It made my entire apartment smell like grass.
