Examples, plenty of them and easy to relate to for me. Worth reading if you want to improve your self in communication or have a role to play for your employer. No confusing bits to try to get to understand.

This book does not apply to just public speaking, I think it can be applied to our day to day talking. Make conversation interesting for others to listen to. I will definitely use the ideas to practise on my social life and prepare for my public speaking. Definitely recommend to everyone, seriously not just for speakers.

I have known about Dale Carnegie for a long time, but I had never read his books, because his lessons are often available in convenient short forms in blogs and magazine articles. Reading this book makes me realise that the information contained in those summarised versions are insignificant when compared to what is covered in the full texts. I recommend to anyone who wishes to learn about public speaking to read this book now. It covers all aspects of the subject, which range from the concerns of the complete beginner to the needs of the more experienced who wants to make better speeches.

Started reading it but soon got bored. Probably too old for this now, I guess.

I found this book very enjoyable and informative. It provides amazing insight into how people become great speakers, and also has exercises so you can actively make improvements whilst you work through the book.

Pocket edition from the 60s pretty good condition keeping in mind it was printed decades ago

I have not finished this book yet, but so far it is pretty good. I recommend you to read it if you want to understand why is so hard to deal with people.
