I didn't inflate the pillow on this trip. Be aware, however, that the blanket is a typical flimsy airline blanket that they jam-packed with the pillow into a zippered case that seemed bulkier than I wanted to carry in my bag, yet was small enough that it was difficult to get it back into the case after the flight. Surprisingly, my 3 kids like it a lot to use it everyday while we were on vacation for a month in a tropical country. The weather was at ~85F day or night. The blanket is not flimsy, it is thick and durable enough to use for 30 days. They use it even when we are at a hotel. The size is just right to grab and go anywhere... in the bedroom, living room, upstairs, downstairs. I don't have to worry that they might step on it and fall on their faces or stairs. I might bring it out again this winter so everybody has their own throw that we can easily snuggle in or tuck away.
