I recently had an unfortunate incident where my plumber accidentally chipped my tub while working on some repairs. Although he attempted to fix it by sending a painter to just paint over the chip, I decided to take matters into my own hands and try out the Porcelain Repair Kit. I did consider sanding it down a bit more, but honestly, it doesn't seem necessary anymore. Once I sanded it down and allowed it to dry properly, I applied a white glossy spot paint on top of the spot (it was like using white out). The end result is simply fantastic! What impressed me the most about this product is how easy it was to use. As someone who has never attempted anything like this before, I was a bit apprehensive. However, the instructions were clear and straightforward, making the process a breeze. Even my plumber was amazed when he couldn't find the spot anymore! Works well as filler and very hard smooth finish. I needed black black and with all the die mixed in it came out as charcoal black.

I used this to repair a tub and a tile. I still have lots of it left for more repairs. You need to be fully prepared before mixing as it could get messy otherwise. The tub was rusted where repaired and since repair was this it is still a little darker than the rest of tub.

The end result is ok- it does the job but its not pretty. The product needs to be mixed- no mixing unit came with it. The instruction say to mix it in the cap which makes it inconvenient when you don’t use all of the product at once and need to recap the mixes. That leads the the one time use popsicle stick mixing tool. It would of made more sense for this to be plastic or some sort of reusable stick. Also if your trying to cover a standing tub it bleeds so mixture ratio may need to be adjusted during mix to prevent that.

I am not a handy person, this product was so simple and easy to use! I used it on my cracked shower floor with no trouble at all. Now back in use after just a couple days. The seller really stands behind this product and I can see why. Will definitely get it again if needed.

The color did not match and wasn't even close. Working pot time was too quick and did not allow for applying it well

Filled and faired to finish a chipped, rusted 1940's bathtub. Used small "dremal" type grinder - cutoff with sanding disc, and appropriate grit to sand to finish. The small sander really was a key for blending patched areas, as the compound dry is hard. Good white color match.

Brilliant! Made an excellent job of a significant repair. Make sure you stir both pots well prior to use - mine had settled and separated quite noticeably but re-mixed perfectly. I marked the two supplied wooden spatulas with and “A” and a “B” to make sure I did not cross contaminate when stirring or dispensing. Have extra wooden spatulas available. I used long matches and fire lighting spills for application. Leave at least 24 hours between layers. Sands smooth easily and there’s plenty on the pots for multiple jobs as required. Would definitely recommend!

Kwalitatief goed. Vloeit mooi uit. (Let op dus enkel geschikt voor horizontaal gebruik!!) Was aanvankelijk prachtig wit, maar jammer genoeg vergeelt het toch wel licht na enige tijd.
