Easy to install Hard Drive & Set Up in less than 30 mins then just installing Cameras
Your browser does not support HTML5 video. I found it easy to set up and install the hard drive. A tip when installing the hard drive is to screw the top two screws in first (but not all the way) and slide into place into the hard drive holder then tighten the screwsI found the WiFi signal reaches from the bottom of the garden OK and my garden is approximately 6 fence panels long.I installed a 2tb hard drive and got 12 days of full 24/7 recording on all 8 cameras or i you select "Movement only" record you can have it for months of recordings.I didn't have to, but nice addition of allowing Ethernet/LAN cable if WiFi signal doesn't reach or if you have brick walls internally (mine is only plasterboard so strong signals)

great price for 8 cameras, however with some difficulties
Fitted this in my house. First thing is that you need to buy separate a hard disk (£60/£80) where the videos will be recorded on.The instructions are not clear enough and the videos are difficult to understand (chines lady trying to explain in English). One camera does not reach the receiver, even with the provided extender. a second one is at intermittent. It sesames to slow down our WI-Fi system and not reach our first floor as it did before fitting the cameras. Haven't tried viewing anything back, as again instructions are difficult to understand. I'm/was was tempted to return and try for a wired one, wich is lots more work.

Comparatively inexpensive, quick setup time, quality video day and night, remote access what more do you need at this price?
Not wanting to run wiring all over the house as it'll be getting sold soon but at the same time feeling the need for some CCTV security I decided wireless was the way to go and another plus is it will be relatively easy to remove and reinstall when I move. My biggest concern is that this house is an old church manse built in the 1860's so the walls, external and internal are all solid stone, not ideal for a wireless signal.I went for the Corsee 8 camera system because ... well let's be honest, the price. At this price you feel if it works even half as good as they say then it'll have been worth it especially when you see what other similar systems are selling for. So it arrived all nicely packaged which is always a good first impression, to me it means they care about their product and yes the cameras especially feel like decent quality equipment. I opened it all up and got right into setting it up, which took about half an hour max for cameras pointed out of windows and the video showing on the TV screen. The next day I fitted what I needed outside as IR lamps just reflect right back at the camera at night time and you see nothing..but 3 lamps, but I need to add here that the outside night vision is very good. The instructions, written in broken English unfortunately, do a job, they will get you there, it's not difficult for the basics, cameras up and connected. Things do get a bit trickier I found when attempting to connect over the Internet which was a requirement for me as I do spend time away from the house on a fairly regular basis. To cut a long story short, I have Internet viewing working on a windows 7 laptop, having downloaded all the updates for Windows 7, updates for flash player though I'm not sure if that's needed or not, and when you connect over the internet the first time there is an active X control to download but just follow the on screen instructions for that one and I had to update the firmware on the box itself, well I did it whether I needed to or not, the update file is on the Corsee website. One thing I do need to stress is that, from my experience, you must be using Microsoft Internet Explorer 32 Bit. I have tried other browsers, using IP addresses, ports forwarded, all sorts of stuff, but none of that worked for me, had to use Internet Explorer 32 Bit. To be fair Corsee do say use Internet Explorer. So the wireless signal goes through my thick walls, just barely through 3 of them as the cameras go around the house, but the extended antennas do a good job of increasing the signal, two supplied and support have promised to supply me with more, plus it is possible to use forwarding on the cameras meaning that far away wills can bounce their signal to the next nearest camera rather than all the way back to the box, Picture quality day and night is really good. Initial setup was very straight forward. I truly feel this was a bargain as it does exactly what it says it'll do and that's what I needed.I haven't downloaded the phone app as my phone is too old to run the required level of Android. I haven't used the remote control much as I connected a USB mouse but the remote does work ok. Talking of USB there are two sockets so the mouse is in one and a usb drive is in the other for backups of video should I need it.So I have found that the product is good value, nicely built and easy to get the initial setting up done. At this price it will be hard to beat. The one thing I would have found really useful though is an online forum where owners could ask each other questions and get advice and solutions from other users of the sytem, I could have solved my internet access issue a lot quicker I think, in saying that Corsee support did help out.29th April UpdateMust admit to being a little impressed today. I'm away from home and viewing the CCTV cameras using Firefox browser and the IP address:open router port in the address bar. It connected and is working very nicely so ignore all the Internet Explorer 32 bit stuff above, well maybe not ignore, keep it in mind, but be assured it is working in Firefox. I imagine the reason it was not working using the IP Address at home is because my ISP stopped the incoming request as it was sent internally, but still that did work with IE regardless..but with IE I used p2p.corsee not the IP address. I may come back and edit the whole internet section..later..
