Does this work with the Lamy Safari Fountain pen?

Yes, I bought it to stop wasting the plastic from cartridges. My parents' pens only had the converters so we have turned full circle!

Does it work with metallic ink?

If you mean a shimmer or sheenng ink, I don't see why not. I think the nib on the pen is more important to consider. I wouldn't use it with a fine or extra fine nib.

Would this work with a sheaffer pen?

Not that I am aware of. I think Sheaffer have their own converter/cartridges. Though a couple of models can take standard international.

Cheeky, but would this work in Jinhoa pens

Possibily, but unlikely. This converter is specifically made for the Lamy pens.
