Great Cleaning Power, Thoughtful Ingredients, and Lasts Longer Than Expected
Iโve repurchased this detergent and plan to continue doing so because it checks a lot of boxes for me. The biggest reason is the ingredient list. Iโm very intentional about the products I bring into my home, and I appreciate that Dirty Labs focuses on bioenzymatic cleaning technology and thoughtfully formulated ingredients rather than relying on harsher chemicals. The Murasaki scent is pleasant and clean without being overpowering. Itโs not necessarily my favorite fragrance of all time, but I enjoy it enough that I never get tired of smelling it on freshly washed clothes. The scent feels subtle and sophisticated rather than artificial or overwhelming. One thing Iโve noticed is that the detergent lasts longer than the packaging suggests. The bottle is marketed for 32 loads, but I routinely get more than that because I adjust the amount based on the size and soil level of each load. A little goes a long way, and Iโve found it to be very concentrated. Most importantly, it cleans well. My clothes come out fresh, and I feel good knowing Iโm using a product whose ingredient philosophy aligns with my values. If youโre looking for a detergent with effective cleaning performance, a pleasant scent, and a cleaner ingredient profile, I think this is worth the investment. Itโs become a staple in my laundry routine, and I will absolutely repurchase it.

Finally, a Fragrance-Free Detergent That Actually Works โ Beautiful and Effective
For years Iโve been searching for fragrance-free products that actually work. If youโve ever tried the usual โFree & Clearโ options, you probably know the story: theyโre marketed as gentle, but most of them underperform. Tide Free & Gentle (or โGentle Free & Clear,โ whatever theyโre calling it now) doesnโt clean nearly as well as regular Tide. All Free & Clear and Kirkland Free & Clear are even weaker. And when Tide Ultra Stain Release Free & Clear was discontinued, it felt like the last great option was gone. Dirty Labs has completely changed that. Their Unscented Bio Laundry Detergent is the first fragrance-free formula Iโve found that actually matches or exceeds the cleaning power of mainstream detergents. The yardstick in my house is my husbandโs laundry: he has extremely oily skin and hair, and most fragrance-free detergents simply canโt get his clothes and pillowcases clean and free of sebum residue. Dirty Labs can. The only mainstream product that comes close right now is All Free & Clear Odor Relief, but even that doesnโt perform quite as consistently. With Dirty Labs, everything comes out fresh, soft, and truly clean. And it only takes two teaspoons per load. Now, about those pumps. Iโve seen some reviewers complain about having to pump eight times. Honestly? It takes maybe 15 seconds. Thatโs not a flaw, thatโs just concentrated detergent in action. You can either pump straight into your washerโs detergent compartment or use the little silicone cup that comes with the system and toss it right in with your clothes. Itโs neat, tidy, and easy. What really elevates the experience, though, is the Reusable Erlenmeyer Glass Flask. This is one of the most thoughtful product designs Iโve ever seen in a cleaning product. The glass feels sturdy and high-quality in your hand, the proportions are comfortable to hold, and it looks beautiful sitting out on the shelf. No more ugly plastic jugs, no more industrial packaging that you want to hide away โ just clean lines and timeless design. Itโs eco-friendly, itโs reusable, and it turns laundry into a routine I actually donโt mind. The flask plus the detergent together feel like a well-thought-out system, not just a product. And while I was switching over, I decided to try the Dishwasher Detergent too. Itโs every bit as effective as the laundry detergent. Dishes come out sparkling, without residue or synthetic fragrance. No heavy perfumes masking โclean,โ just actual clean. Between the laundry detergent, the flask, and the dishwasher detergent, Dirty Labs has created a complete system for the home thatโs sustainable, safe, and effective. Iโve been so impressed that I bought sets for my mom and both of my adult daughters. When you find something that works this well, you want to share it. Dirty Labs solved a problem Iโve had for years: how to get truly clean clothes and dishes without relying on harsh, heavily scented mainstream products or disappointing โfree & clearโ versions that donโt do the job. If youโre on the fence, hereโs my advice: donโt just buy one piece โ get the whole system. The Unscented Laundry Detergent, the Erlenmeyer Glass Flask, and the Dishwasher Detergent. Together they make cleaning simple, elegant, and effective. This is one of those rare cases where you really can have it all: eco-conscious design, fragrance-free formulas, and powerful cleaning performance.

EXCELLENT detergent!!
If I could give this detergent 10 stars I would. I have been waiting for a detergent like this for decades. It cleans better than ANY detergent I have ever used, it doesnโt have a chemical smell and a tiny bit goes a long way which protects my washing machine and my budget. I am chemically sensitive and Also have a very good sense of smell. I am extra aware of wether my clothes Actually smell clean without fragrances to conceal what isNT being cleaned. So laundry coming out still smelling really bothers me but I canโt use conventional laundry detergents due to the fragrances and the scent free ones I tried just didnโt actually clean my laundry and still had that not quite clean laundry smell. I am DELIGHTED with this brand. It actually cleans my laundry and it smells fresh because itโs actually clean. I have really put it through the wringer too with dirt, grass stains, all kinds of food stains, sweat stains, blood from a skinned knee, and more. It gets EVERYthing out. It even brightened up an old duvee cover that was โcleanโ. It took out all the musty smells, old fragrance smells and made it look vibrant and brand new again (it had been looking dull and grungy). This seemed expensive when I bought it the first time because you get an 8 ounce bottle, and I was like thereโs no way that this is gonna last as long as they say. But it did. You really truly do not need very much. My clothes are the cleanest theyโve ever been. Iโm still shocked every time I wash something that I havenโt worn in a while and it comes out cleaner then when I put it on. Also, being chemically sensitive I do not tolerate synthetic fragrances at all. Like zero. I tried other brands that claim to be natural and I still get reactions to them. I have zero reaction to both scents in this brand. Iโm not claiming that all people that are chemically sensitive would have the same experience as me, But both sense are gentle, theyโre not overpowering, they didnโt cause my skin to react and they didnโt give me my typical chemical sensitivity reaction either. The good smell was present but was not overwhelming - and I love that I can finally have clean detergent AND a pretty scent on it. And if for some reason you donโt want scents, they offer a fragrance free option. I highly recommend this detergent. It is hard to impress me when it comes to laundry detergent. I really dived deep into experimenting with different brands and different types for a while, and this is my number #1 pick. Even though itโs a little bottle, I spend less money overall on this detergent. And it Actually cleans the laundry and doesnt just gloss over with fragrances. I absolutely love it. It deserves 10 stars.

Great smell. Messy bottle
Love the scent, hate the mess. Please, Dirty Labs, re-think the packaging. The bottle is always messy and sticky because there is no way to pour it without it clinging and dripping down the outside. Even the powder booster is a tough package because the lid that holds the spoon is very hard to get off to get to the detergent. Love the smell though. Cleans well.

Good product
I like the smell and how gentle it is. My clothes feel cleaner. I will buy this again. As a note, I have read some reviews where the detergent was messy in the cap. Since itโs made out of silicone I just throw it in the wash too.

Love the formula, packaging, eco friendliness. Hate the scent!
I bought a 2 pack - one of each scent - of Dirty Labs laundry detergent. I appreciate the reusable, unbreakable silicone measuring cup. I appreciate the aluminum bottles (we HATE plastics). I appreciate the tiny amount needed compared to big brands - sometimes less is more! I love the enzymes!!! But what I can't get past, is the scent. I don't like either of them, at all. So, I use these almost exclusively on my dog's clothing and bedding. I'll also wash my expensive wool ski socks with them, because they're not near my nose. I'll wash dish towels with them, too, because they're not close to my face hardly ever. But that's about it... I do think the green labeled bottle is better scented than the purple labeled one. But they don't smell like the scent profiles listed! The green one is supposed to be magnolia, bergamot and cedar. I LOVE bergamot, I like cedar, and I don't know what magnolias smell like, but this smelled like some old lady perfume. The purple one is supposed to be jasmine, matcha and vetiver... I like matcha and vetiver, but all I got was the jasmine smell, and a bit of musty mildew scent, so again, old lady perfume with a bit of mustiness. GROSS! And they both made me sick when used on my upper body clothes and bedding. The scents linger for a long time, and if you are sensitive to certain scents (allergies, asthma, migraine, MCAS, etc), get the unscented version. That being said, for my shirts, bras, undies, etc. I use a different earth friendly laundry soap that is unscented, which is better than smelling like my great grandma. *Dirty Labs, take note! If you make a citrusy scent (clementine, lime, bergamot) or fruity (blueberry, raspberry, strawberry), or candy scent (bubble gum, cotton candy, marshmallow - a kid friendly smell!), or even a warm scent (cashmere, amber, patchouli), I would buy every single scent!!! As a person with allergies and asthma, I find that mostly the scents that I can handle have to be food related (vanilla, for example) or mild, soft smells. Your scents triggered wheezing and sneezing! Not fun. Anyways, that's my piece. I'll never understand why the laundry scents are either 1. floral, frou-frou and foofy, 2. powdery baby scents or 3. unscented. For the record, my favorite laundry scents ever were in soaps I can't use on my clothes either because their formulas are too strong for my sensitive skin and eczema - one is called Cool Cotton and Thai Dragon Fruit (discontinued). *sigh* If just a couple good companies made some unique scents - Blueberry & Lavender (and sometimes lemon) are BEAUTIFUL together - they'd stand out for us scent sensitives, and it'd be all profit! Take that for what it's worth. Maybe I'm just a weirdo.

FANTASTIC ON PET STAINS & ODORS
This remove pet outdoors and stains without damaging fabric. I've used it on laundry and for spot cleaning. It's a great laundry detergent overall. It has a lovely neutral scent that doesn't bother my allergies. Dissolves in cold water. Highly concentrated so easy to use in a compact bottle. Excellent little measuring cup. A little goes a LONG way.

Best detergent for handwashing
Been using this since May when I moved to a new apartment without onsite laundry. I have a washbasin and a mini washing machine and this detergent has been perfect for them. It's incredibly good at getting bloodstains and soot out (can't vouch for food/oil stains, though). I just fill my basin with cold water, add a little bit of the detergent, and let clothes soak overnight and they are stain-free the next day. Now, while it's unscented, it does kind of have a smell. I think it's impossible to have something truly be "scentless." Just know it doesn't smell flowery or linen-y or whatever, it's just kinda neutral/bleh, but only if you stick your nose right in it. It is pricey, but you really only have to use a teeeeny amount. The way I'm using it I'll probably still have some in the bottle by the time my purchase anniversary rolls around (but I am only one person, so, grain of salt and all that). Overall, it's legit and worth it, especially if you handwash a lot of stuff because you hate going to the laundromat lol

Unscented is scented!! Be warned!
It's not unscented. Drove my aesthma way up and may have ruined my sheets and clothes. F--- this brand. Also, as others have stated, the bottle design is CRAP. I hate it when products position themselves as 'premium' but are less useful than the basic brands at the damn grocery store...disappointing.
