Backyard Tested, Adventure Approved
We recently broke in our new Gazelle T4 Hub Tent with a backyard camping night, and it’s safe to say—this thing is a game-changer. Setup was insanely fast. I had it up in under 2 minutes while my son snuck in a little screen time (dad duties, right?). The hub system is brilliant—no fighting with poles or guessing what goes where. Once it was up, the interior space blew us away. My son and I had plenty of room to stretch out with our gear, and the vertical walls made it feel way bigger than a standard dome-style tent. Ventilation was solid, and the material felt durable enough to handle more rugged use once we hit the trails or state parks. What sealed the deal for me was the feeling of security and sturdiness. Even with a breeze rolling in, the Gazelle didn’t budge. Zippers were smooth, mesh was tight, and the floor is tough—no worries about gear poking through. If you’re a parent looking for a quick, no-stress way to camp with your kids or a seasoned camper needing a reliable shelter, the T4 is worth every penny. We can’t wait to take it beyond the backyard and into the wild.

Best Tent
Although a little pricey, this tent is awesome. It is very high quality and has held up well over multiple camping trips. It is a little complex to pop up, but once you figure it out, it gets easier every time. Just make sure you read the instructions first and you will be fine lol. The only other thing to consider is the size. Even the bag itself is massive. Just make sure you have someone strong to carry it when needed, it's definitely not one of those small tents you can get from Walmart.

A Spacious, Rain-Ready Tent with a Few Quirks
The Good This tent delivers where it counts. It comfortably fits 4–5 people with plenty of interior space, and the generous rainfly is a game-changer in heavy rain — we've used it twice now in significant downpours and the inside stayed impressively dry both times. A few drops appeared in the back left corner, but that's a major improvement over our previous tent. Setup is straightforward, and the multiple storage pockets are a nice touch for keeping gear organized. The Not-So-Good At this price point, a few design choices are hard to overlook. The front screen door opens from the outside, meaning you have to step out of the tent every time you want to open or close it — a small but frustrating oversight that should really be accessible from the inside. The poles are also a bit tricky to fit together; even after two uses, the assembly feels slightly off and could use clearer guidance. Finally, it's a heavy tent, and the packed size is larger than expected — it wouldn't fit flat in a 5-foot truck bed and had to be loaded diagonally. Bottom Line If rain protection is your priority, this tent delivers. We're avid campers who wanted something that could handle the elements, and it passes that test. A few ergonomic fixes would make it an easy five stars.

Game changer
Beat tent I ever owned. Easy set up and tons of room. Take down and clean up is a breeze. Also oversized bag solves the problem of trying to get things back into the bag. Game changer. This is the luxury item that will make you camping better and more enjoyable.

The Camping Apartment
This thing is huge and heavy so you better have some car space. But it’s like having a home away from home. Super comfy inside

Deploy Prior to Use!
Make sure you deploy the tent before use! We have a Gazelle G6 that’s 6 yrs old and we never had issues with it. We trusted gazelle quality but the quality control is now hit or miss! Very disappointed that upon deploying our t4 hub tent at camp that the poles that you pull out weren’t properly affixed /secured to the tent with the nut annd bolt and we had to make it work because we had no choice! Totally unexpected for a $760 tent! It rained in Yellowstone every night at camp and we had to make a way to push the pull handles out and make sure water did not enter the tent during the night! Luckily Amazon has a great return/replacement policy so we processed the return with no questions asked as soon as we got home. The new tent arrived fairly quickly and this time we deployed it to make sure everything was in working condition. The tent was “new” but you can see quality control inconsistencies in the stitching and there are holes in the floor already! Like really? Those holes don’t happen during shipping. Just the whole inconvenience of the return process due to poor assembly made this whole experience a nightmare. This is a bulky item and is not small either. Then we don’t get a perfect product in the end! Going to patch up these holes but with the $ I paid, I shouldn’t have to. I hope this product holds up like our G6 which never had any issues through he years. I’m grateful for Amazon for making the return process as easy as it was.

This thing is huge !
Now this is a tent! Great quality, great material, quick set up… Only downfall is that it’s pretty heavy, but other than that, love it!

Great space, great tent, but a little too dark
Outstanding tent, easy to set up, and quality materials. We had a little issue with the tent sweating on the inside, but it did keep rain out. Plenty of space for your family and gear. Con’s: Really, the only complaint was how dark it was inside the tent. Even in direct light, it’s still pretty dark. Which would be great for sleeping in, not so great trying to find something. And it is on the heavier side. But this wasn’t designed to the a backpack tent. It’s meant to pull up, unload the vehicle and quickly have it set up. Pros: Some benefits, it comes with the waterproof bag which is extra roomy (no struggling to stuff it in the bag), upgraded tent stakes (heavy duty), and the footprint (perfectly sized for staking). Biggest perk, this thing is easy and fast to set up. My husband set this up, by himself (first time) in under 4 minutes not counting staking. And was able to break it down, from up and unstaked to bag in about 5 minutes. Overall, we’d recommend it if you prefer a slightly darker interior. The zippers never snagged, and the price point is reasonable for the quality of the tent. The only reason we went with the T8, was literally it was brighter in the tent.
