**Q: How many times was the steel folded?**
A: traditional

**Q: is this a real Samurai Sword ?**
A: No. No it is not. Ive not bought one but i can tell you from the picture alone that it is 440 steel at best. Ive had a 440 steel straight sword for around 15yrs. Its good to play with but in not even close to a 'real Katana'. It bends and the edge does not hold. A real Katana does not cost 100 dollars..........

**Q: How is the handle will it break if used ?**
A: It is very well made, has not been used, the blade it sharp and ready for use, and it is even more beautiful then the photo shows

Bought it as a gift for my brother but I should have kept it! It was very nice, sharp and had a heavy feel to it. I'm not knowledgeable in swords or anything but this is a really nice one for a low cost.
