This is the only sling I'll trust moving forward
This is my third time being in a sling for a shoulder, but it's been 10 years since the last time. I'd finally gotten rid of my slings at home, so the first thing I did was buy just about every sling amazon has to offer. Look, a lot of these other ones are going to be fine for something ailments, I'm sure, but I won't trust any other sling for a recently dislocated shoulder. This is the only sling that gives me the support I need. The velcro is good and stays secured (unlike some). The lengths are adjustable. Is it confusing and hard to get on? I mean, yeah, the first couple times, but if you power through and learn how you won't have to worry about your arm swinging out when you bend over. The fabric can be a little hot, but if that's the price we pay for safety then so be it. I bought an extra so I have one to wear during washes of the first.

Comfort and reasonable price, check sizing chart
Follow the seller's recommendations for sizing. I ordered a medium because of reviews I read. I should have ordered large for a more comfortable fit for the number of weeks I'll be wearing it. As far as quality goes, very impressed. It's the same quality materials and level of construction as the ridiculously expensive ones from the hospital. I have a 3 level fusion in my neck and knew from experience, I would not tolerate anything putting pressure on my neck. The sling distributes the weight and stain more on the opposite shoulder with minimal pressure on the neck. I did grab a padded seat belt cover from my car to put over the strap that goes over the opposite shoulder to keep the strap from rubbing my neck raw. I also lined the sling on the second day with a sacrificed t-shirt. This helped reduce the sweating and the rubbing from the straps inside. It may sound like I complaing, I'm not. This is the best sling I've used for comfort, design, purpose and durability, not to mention the very affordable cost. I would also like to note, that my ortho had never heard of a sling that didn't go around the neck. I think this was an eye opener to him and his staff about other options the medical reps are not making them aware of.

Pretty Decent Shoulder Immobilizer
๐นYou CAN put this brace on by yourself. Had a traumatic injury and blew my shoulder out (dominant hand). This is the best brace I found to date. ๐นIt correctly places your elbow in the sling almost into a pocket. Fabric comes up the outer edge of your elbow/arm by about 5 inches. ๐นA strap attaches near your elbow and then goes up to and odd an almost a wishbone shape. The straps bifurcate with one over your shoulder toward the top of wrist and the other goes down (bows outward though) under your armpit and Velcros under your wrist. ๐นIt also has TWO straps inside by your wrist to help hold your hand in place and a thumb strap as well. Drawbacks: Minus a โญ๏ธ. ๐ปinstead of the single strap that comes off the elbowโit should have 2. ๐ปHave the 1st strap similar to the one but higher up on the elbow pocket. ๐ปA 2nd strap from the bottom of the elbow pocket that almost encircles your waist and attaches underneath your wrist. โ I did ordered a 2nd one. Machine wash in a small lingerie bag and only air dry. Just remember to wrap part of the Velcro back on itself.. โ๏ธAll purchase all my items and reviews aren't incentivized.

Best sling
This sling was so much better for my broken arm. The previous one hung around my neck and pulled on my neck and shoulders. This sling goes over one shoulder, which supports the arm so much better with no strain on my body. Itโs a little tricky to get on, but once you have it on, itโs much more comfortable.

Not really good for a left arm
Certainly better than the hospital issue they gave me for my dislocated shoulder. Itโs nice and padded and has manageable straps so I can put in on by myself. But although it says it fits both left and right, itโs really made for a right arm and doesnโt translate as well to the left. The Velcro is hard to manage as it wraps toward the body instead of from inside out. And I find the sleeve is too long. Iโm 5โ7โ and my hand is half swallowed by the sleeve. So washing my hands or trying to do anything water involved means the sleeve of the sling gets wet. I live with it because Iโm expecting to dump it soon!

Perfect to immobilize a broken shoulder.
This was a game changer. The bulky and ill-fitting immobilizer the hospital gave me was absolutely intolerable. I found this and could not be happier. It's so adjustable! It holds my arm tight to my chest without moving, and also without being so hot and bulky as the others. Even my doc was impressed with it. The velcro is really sticky and works well. The sling is highly adjustable and very easy to use. It gives me all the support I need without the bulk and heat of a standard immobilizer. The generals thumb strap helps keep my hand in place. Totally happy that it can be hand-washed too. I ordered a medium and it seems true to size. I hope you never need an immobilizer, but if you do, this is a great one.

Supportive, easy to use, easy on neck, definitely recommend
Great sling. I broke my clavicle and the sling the ER provided was just about useless. This sling holds my arm close to my body, but not too tight. I can sleep in it and even traveled (by car as a passenger, family emergency) 500 miles from home the first week after fracture, just using a pillow for extra support and some muscle relaxants - and everything went fine. Fracture is healing well --- no surgery required - and I give part of the good result to this sling. Just make sure you get the correct size. I have ordered a second one - just to give the first some breathing/airing room since it will be my companion for the next month.

I am so glad I purchased this
After my wrist surgery the sling the insurance company provided was horrible. I purchased this one and it is fantastic. It gave me so much comfort during my recovery. I highly recommend it. If you need a sling buy this one

Willcom Arm Sling for Shoulder Injury with Waist Strap
Excellent support after shoulder surgery. Can be a little tricky at first to work out the straps but very happy with this item.

Soft and well constructed.
Comfortable, soft and successfully limits motion of your arm and shoulder by holding your arm against your torso. Padded strap over the opposite shoulder makes it more comfortable to wear than some options. Well constructed.
