Excellent small humidor
16L 100 count cigars - great price! Sleek, quiet, very good looking with a reflective mirror glass and the body is a black finish. Very good looking humidor and would look good in any room. I've been seasoning this for a couple days and it reached 68% humidity and is maintaining just fine. I added some cigars and so far it's still holding the humidity just fine. The temperature control works very well. Currently I'm using the supplied water tray. I placed a new sponge in it and added distilled water. I typically use boveda 2 way humidity packs, but I wanted to test the supplied water tray. So far it's working fine. It comes with 2 trays, the bottom one is box like which is great as it holds the cigars very well. The top tray has no sides so you need to think about how you stack your cigars. Drawbacks? None really, other than you can't fit Cigar boxes, at least not the ones that are single stacked cigar boxes. But I would consider this one a started cigar humidor which is meant to keep single cigars. Overall this a great cigar humidor, it works very well and does what it is designed to do and it won't break the bank.

My Second Kingchii I purchased !!
KingChii 16L Electric Cigar Humidor Review: The Garage Warrior That Laughs at 108°F Las Vegas Heat Listen up, cigar lovers. If you’ve ever worried about your sticks turning into dusty, flavorless twigs in extreme heat—or worse, sweating themselves into a moldy mess—meet the KingChii 16L. This little black box of pure genius just became my new best friend, and after what it pulled off in my un-air-conditioned Las Vegas garage, I’m ready to buy it flowers. Yesterday hit 108°F outside. My garage? A proper oven with zero AC, the kind of place where even the tools start questioning their life choices. Meanwhile, inside the KingChii 16L? Humidity and temperature locked in like they had a personal bodyguard. Perfect. Steady. Unbothered. My cigars sat there looking smug while the desert tried its hardest to ruin everything. That’s not marketing fluff. That’s real-world, “I live in actual hell and this thing still delivers” performance. Why this thing rules It’s a compact thermoelectric electric humidor (roughly 20” deep × 10” wide × 14” tall) that holds around 100 cigars. Spanish cedar shelves and a drawer give that classic cedar aroma and help regulate moisture the right way. Dual heating and cooling keep the temp rock-solid in a usable range (typically in the mid-60s to low-70s °F depending on the exact model), with quiet semiconductor tech that doesn’t sound like a mini fridge having an identity crisis. Touch controls, a glass door so you can admire your collection, and a hygrometer to keep an eye on things. Toss in Boveda packs or use the water tray—it just works. Setup is dead simple. Plug it in, set your preferred temp, season if needed, load it up, and walk away. No drama. No constant babysitting. In a place like Vegas where outdoor temps swing from “warm” to “surface of the sun,” that stability is everything. The fun part Opening the door after a brutal heat day and finding your cigars still in perfect condition feels like cheating. You get that soft cedar scent, the right humidity, the right temp, and the quiet confidence that your investment (and your next smoke) is safe. It looks sharp enough to live in a living room or study, yet tough enough for garage duty. It’s the underdog that punches way above its price (usually in the $150–$210 range). If you’ve been stuck with passive wooden humidors that panic the second the thermostat climbs, or cheap coolers that only cool and leave you sweating when the room gets warm, this is the upgrade. Heating + cooling in one compact unit is the game-changer for extreme climates. Bottom line: The KingChii 16L turned my scorching garage into a climate-controlled cigar sanctuary without breaking a sweat. My sticks stayed happy. I stayed happy. And now I’m wondering how I lived without it. If you value perfectly kept cigars more than fighting the weather, grab one. Your future self (and every stick you light up) will thank you. Highly, enthusiastically recommended—especially if you live somewhere that tries to cook everything in sight.

Easiest humidor I’ve ever had.
If you’re on the fence about getting one of these, just do it. You will thank yourself later when you have 0 worries about your cigars being taken care of and did very little to get it set up. Here’s my week of using review. Pros: User friendly - easy to use touch panel for temp and light. Set to your temperature and let it do it’s job. Set up - took just 24 hours to reach my desired parameters and the only things I had to do was plug it in, set the temp, throw in Boveda packs, and stock with cigars. Easiest humidor set up I’ve ever had. Consistent temp and humidity - haven’t had any fluctuations in temperature or humidity since set up Appearance - this thing looks like it’s made by NASA and definitely will get peoples attention when they see it. Storage - definitely enough room to store a good amount of cigars where you wont have to restock often before running out. Cons: Tray dimensions - in order to open the trays you need to open the door completely wide open to get the tray to slide out without hitting the door. The back of the trays also don’t go flush to the back so if you over stock them the cigars can and will fall through the back to the bottom. Light - the light isn’t very bright and can’t be seen at the bottom trays when stocked. No humidity sensor - it will tell you temperature but not humidity level. It does come with hygrometer but it’s analog so I would recommend using them for great accuracy. Storage - 250 cigars is a stretch. Realistically you’ll get about 50-75 if you’re really packing this thing full of sticks. But l only put it as a con because it states 250 cigars storage. It will most definitely hold enough cigars that you won’t be running out often. Over all: This is a set it and forget it type of humidor. If you live in a place that gets hot this is a must have. It will keep your cigars in a consistent environment for both temperature and humidity. This is something that can be kept in a garage year round and not have to worry. If you want something easy, that works, and looks nice, get this humidor.

In depth review. Keeps temp and Humidity accurate, a temp controlled unit at an amazing price.
Briefly, I believe this to be one of the best temp controlled humidors available for the price. Highly recommend. Read on for a more in depth review. * Size and Capacity: A 100-count humidor is ideal for storing a moderate collection of cigars. If you plan to store more cigars in the future, you might consider a larger humidor. For me this one is a perfect size. Currently storing ~45 cigars comfortably, with plenty of room left. The unit itself has a larger depth than I suspected. It fits very nice next to my nightstand. But could prove obtrusive in a living room for example, measure accordingly. * Temperature Control: Electric humidors with temperature control allow you to maintain a consistent temperature, this is crucial for those in environments with temperature swings. So far this unit keeps a steady temp heating and cooling at the set temp. Controls are located on the front of the unit. Press the pressure activated button to unlock the unit then press again to change temp. The ideal temperature range for cigars is typically between 64°F and 72°F. I keep this unit at 69 degrees. This unit is holding steady and accurately at 0.5 degrees above the set temp, according to my readings. * Humidity Control: This unit came with plastic reservoir to hold distilled water. I found however that I could not control the humidity with that setup, overshot big time. Humidity consistently went too high. Instead I tried a single Bovida pack at 69% and 60 gram size. Humidity would stay at 62%. So I tried a single 72% humidity pack and humidity is staying at 62%. I will note, Bovida would strongly suggest the 320 gram pack for this setup. In trying to be cheap I cost myself more money here. In using single 60 grams packs and never got the correct humidity. Finally, I upgraded to the 320 gram pack and that kept humidity right where I wanted it at 66%. Of note I live in a dry climate. * Construction Material: unit has a tight seal. All buttons work as expected. It is large and arguably difficult to find a place to keep this unit in a aesthetically pleasing location. Thus why in my bedroom. Instructions request you keep a 3 inch space in the back of the unit to not block airflow. The wood inside for the shelving is Spanish cedar and the shelves slide in and out easily. Please note, in order to slide shelves in and out the door must be opened a complete 180 degrees and opens to the right. If you place the unit next to something that doesn't allow you to fully open the door flush (or 180 degrees) you will not be able to slide the shelves. There is a light inside that is pressure activated via a switch on the top front of the unit next to the temp controls. Light is nice to check on my humidity levels which I have been obsessing over. The unit is very quiet and despite being next to my head when sleeping, it is never noticed. I will say the blue light from the temp reading is very bright and no way to dim. I am considering black tape over this. * Analog Hygrometer: The built in hygrometer appears accurate enough. Two digital hydrometers matching at 66% and built in analog at 68%. * Final thoughts: this is a very easy to use unit. Lots of positives. Price is great, seems well made. Controls temp very well. A future worry I have is what if this unit fails. I will lose temp control but the seal is strong and the humidity will stay accurate per my testing by leaving the unit unplugged for 72 hours. My only frustration is the brightness of the temp light. Since I keep this in my bedroom, I do like a very dark room and this disrupts that. Black tape helps. Not even a big deal in a different location. Also do yourself a favor and get the 320 g Boveda pack instead of being cheap like me with the 60 gram packs. This pack humidifies best in top rack not buried under the bottom shelf, trial and error done for you.

Nothing but a stinking wine cooler.
What has been done to upgrade this wine cooler to a cigar humidor? Nothing! Ablsolutely nothing! No drawers, just shelves that allow cigars to fall out when someone that does not understand just how poorly this thing is designed, pulls shelve out. Very poor idea at best. Hygrometer was placed in zip lock bag with a 69% Boveda bag. Hygrometer stopped reading at 85%. Useless. Can't see anything in humidor without a flash light becauce the weeny little light in wine cooler is so poor. Little light does not penetrat past top shelve when it has cigars placed on it. So, door must be opened for inspections. This thing was never designed as a cigar humidor. Buy at your own risk. On a scale from one to ten, I will give this thing a three. Smoked glass front may work for bottles of wine but I would like to see my cigars without having to open the wine cooler door. This is where the flash light comes in. I don't know about you, but I choose not to store my cigars in direct sun light. Smoked glass looks nice but serves little purpose. Could be lighter tint so that viewing interier is easier. Due to the plastic interier the amount of moisture bars or beads is greatly reduced. I have only one jar of moisture beads in wine cooler and is holding at my preferred humidity level of 68%. You may wish to start saving little bits of cedar for your humidor as this wine cooler has very little in it. See, I told you, this thing was never designed to be anything but a wine cooler. I have ordered four after market humidor top tray's so that I may organize my cigars in something other then a half hazzard manner. At this point in time I am still thinking about returning wine cooler to amazon. The after market tray's will be used in other humidors. If your going to design a wine cooler, then design a wine cooler. If your going to design a cigar humidor, then design a cigar humidor. Don't call a wine cooler a cigar humidor without doing one thing in order make this a cigar humidor. Cedar shelves do not, a humidor make. You should leave the designing of humidors to cigar smokers. Sorry ladies and gentlemen, I'm calling "CaCa a La Baca" on this product description. 12/31/22. Added four new cedar humidor tray's measuring 12'x7'x1 3/4'. It now looks like a humidor, smells like a humidor and my cigars are now organized. I am upgrading my review to three stars. Wine cooler holds moisture very well. 1/16/23. Due to the size of wine bottles there is enough room inside the 33L wine cooler for seven additional cedar tray's. Two on the bottom piggy back, two on the shelf above it. One on top of cedar drawer and one on each of top two shelves. I am now pleased with calling this wine cooler a cigar humidor. The reason for leaving my rating at three stars is simply because I had to spend an extra $135. in order to turn this unit into a cigar humidor myself. 1/10/24. Sometime prior to this writting the fan stopped working. Save your money. This thing is junk and nothing more.

Functionality, efficiency, and pricing
This electric cooling humidor is a decent beginner humidor. A good step up from a desktop humidor. Your getting a stylish good quality humidor for a reasonable price. You will be able to store approximately 100 cigars. Very easy set up, basically plug and play. It takes about 24 hours to season the humidor and after that just and your cigars. Pros: Very elegant and stylish. Very quiet Holds the humidity excellently. I have mine between 66 and 69 humidity without any issues. Cons: The light inside doesn't really illuminate anything once you have your cigars in place. The humidification tray is way to bulky it takes up to much space, space that can be used for more sticks. I would recommend removing the humidification tray and use a humidification pack like a Boveda pack. The last thing is me just nitpicking but I would prefer a digital hygrometer over the manuel hygrometer that it comes with. Overall this is a great beginners electric cooling humidor that is budget friendly, easy to use and is very sleek and stylish.

Heating & Cooling Humidors Are The Way
When I'm asked what's the best type of Humidor for a cigar enthusiastic with a growing collection, I always recommend one with heating & cooling functionality. One of the key factors in taking care of your cigars long term is consistent humidity and temperature. Without a separate heating/cooling system, our cigars are susceptible to the changing temperatures in our homes. Well, with Thermoelectric Humidor from KingChii, you can maintain a consistent temperature for your cigars throughout the year. Heating and cooling - you can adjust your desired temperature between 54-74°F. Depending on the temperature of the surrounding environment, the humidor will heat or cool to keep your cigars at your desired temperature setting. The humidor cooled to my desired temperature within an hour; however, results will vary based on the outside ambient temperature Humidification - the humidor comes with a removable water reservoir that you fill with distilled water to add humidity to your cigars. I personally prefer to use Boveda packs to regulate humidity because they release and absorb humidity to maintain a perfect relative humidity (RH). I find it difficult to maintain humidity using distilled water alone; however, it is nice to have the option to do so. The humidor has an analog hygrometer on bottom tray. I prefer to use a digital hygrometer for my humidors because they can be calibrated if needed. There's also a fan built into this unit to help with air circulation within the humidor. Design - the humidor is well built and adds an elegant aesthetic to any living space. It features a metal body similar to a refrigerator. What stands out is the dual layer glass door with a mirror-like finish. The dual layers of glass offer substantial insulation while still allowing you view your cigar collection. The interior of the humidor has two adjustable Spanish cedar shelves. One shelf is flat to hold a few boxes of cigars or bundles. The adjust shelf is a drawer that can be used loose cigars or larger bundles. There is a built-in led light that can turned on or off. The light isn't the brightest and can make it difficult to view cigars on the bottom shelf. I would recommend the company use side- lighting for future designs. The control panel on the front of the humidor is used to set your desired temperature. This humidor is an excellent choice for a cigar enthusiast who is new to the hobby or a seasoned aficionado with a growing collection. it gives you full temperature control while keeping your cigars in a safe and humidified environment. Before you spend money on wooden desktop humidor ( most are made out of subpar materials and don't hold humidity that well ) please consider a well priced heating and cooling Humidor like this one; Your cigar collection will thank you later.

Incompatible power supply
I bought this because the reviews appeared great, however, it is not mentioned anywhere that the appliance requires a 110v supply. In the UK, the supply is 240v/60hz. Fortunately, I read the instructions and checked the power information at the back of the humidor before plugging it in and accidentally blowing it up. I haven't been able to use it yet as I now need to get a power adapter that supports the odd plug that the humidor comes with... which will likely cost me £30-£50. Surely, this should be mentioned somewhere in the description.

Geniales Teil.
Bisher mein einziger Kritikpunkt.

Fast Shipping, Great Quality, and Excellent Features!
I recently purchased two KingChii electrical humidors, and I have to say I am extremely impressed! First off, the shipping was incredibly fast, and both units arrived in perfect condition. The packaging was sturdy, ensuring everything stayed safe during delivery. Setting up the humidors is a bit of a process, so I'm still working on getting them ready to use as it may take a few days to properly set everything up and stabilize the humidity. However, the digital display is fantastic—clear, easy to read, and very functional. The interior lighting is a nice touch as well, adding a great ambiance and making it easy to check on your cigars. One thing to note is that there was a bit of a plasticky smell when I first opened the humidors, but following the instructions in the manual has been helping to get rid of it, so it’s not a big issue. Overall, I’m really happy with these humidors so far. If you’re looking for a sleek, functional, and well-built humidor, I highly recommend the KingChii!
