Belkin RJ11 Male to BT Plug Male Cable F8V168b02M

I'm not sure how, but I threw my old phone cable away (I don't really use the landline much), so this made a cheap and excellent replacement. However, it's now back in the cupboard along with the phone that I don't use .... kept in case the mobile network dies

For some reason the modem in my house kept disconnecting whenever someone touched one of the cables or if the internet started to download too much at once. Bought these just to test if it would help the problem and am so glad I did. For little over 4 pounds I received three of these cables, the length is quite good and the conenctions secure. Not only did it stop all internet disconenctions I was having it also sped the max download speed by 400 kb/s. If you're cables are starting to get a bit old, buy this product and replace them, you won;t regret it.

The cable doesn't appear to be made by Belkin, but it does the job it's supposed to without issue. Only on the one landline phone I use, however. The cable is *incompatible* with all of the backup phones I've got access to, because its pin connections are different to the connections on all the backup phone cables: No matter what phone you have, the cable's "BT plug" end that goes in the wall socket is standardised (connecting to pins 2 and 5 of the six available pin slots, unless you have a really old phone that also needs a bell wire on pin 3). However, the end that plugs into your phone is *not* standardised, even though it uses the same socket shape (RJ11). The RJ11 plugs and sockets also have 6 pin slots, of which two should have pins connected to wire. On my phone in use right now, the socket is expecting the middle two pins (3 and 4) to be connected, which is how this cable is configured and why it works. However, all the other phones I have access to are expecting to connect to pins 2 and 5. If your phone is manufactured with RJ11 pin connections to pins 2 and 5, then this cable will *not* work for you.

I bought 2 from the high street shops which cost me £12 and didn't work. The Belkin is a 2 wired instead of four wired which they only sell in the shops I looked on here and seen this one excellent service and when I plug it into my cordless phone it worked straight away for the price what for this item I am very happy I have even order another one as spare.

bought one of their cables, i pickit the wrong cable by mistake and gave a bad review, i would like to say sorry for that, as they where kind enough to send me the right cable and this one does the job just fine, for the price and custumer sevice you can't go wrong so many thanks.

We all know Beklin offer some of the best products around so I was comfortable buying this product. This is just what I needed a Male type to a BT type phoneline lead to replace the one my rabbit had unfortunately chew through without me knowing until I found the phone no longer worked. The product came safely packaged. Excellent as always Beklin.

I tried this cable to connect my BT phone with the wall socket. It didn't work for me at all. There is not tone at all, can't make or receive any calls. Either the cable is faulty or not compatible with BT phones.
