Can these be refilled?

According to my teens, yes they can. As long as you don't wear down the eraser at the end as that needs to be pulled out in order to do it. They also have 2 leads in them.

Are these recyclable?

You can refill if thats what u mean. Just need to buy the right size pencil fillers

Will these pencils accept a 0.5mm lead instead of the 0.7mm lead supplied?

I dont know i haven't tried, but logically i dont think it will, cos it'll be loose and have a grio to hold it in.
