One of those changes is the back plate the mirror attaches to the headrest. The change in shape feels more stable on a headrest and sits better. If I was to buy again I would get another yellow mirror. Whilst driving it makes it easier to take a quick glance in the mirror and see the yellow border of the mirror, rather than a black which takes just a little longer to locate thus spending less time looking at the road.
