Got it on sale at an awesome price! Quality safe with a clean look, perfect to store your valuables and important personal items. Instructions were perfect, easy to setup the digital combination lock. I love that it has multiple ways to open it, via the code, and the backup emergency electronic key work great. Functions very well, haven't had any issues with it not working at all in 3 months, opening it daily. Good amount of space/size at 3+ Cubic feet. Hopefully it's as fireproof as they say, God forbid anything happen. Mounts to the wall came with it as well. Overall the perfect value safe for anyone. While it's still small enough for someone to pick up and take if they wanted, mounting it to the wall can make this harder. But unless you're going to buy a huge safe that can't be physically moved by a human, this is a great overall safe at a very good price.

I love this product! It fits all my medications with more space available! The directions for setting the time and date were not very clear. I looked on Google on how to, and found you have to put in your master code first and then immediately after pressing # press * and the date starts flashing. Year goes first, month, and day. At the very bottom is the time and it directs you to that after putting in the date.

Our former tax deduction son is now in his 30s, which means he's accumulating valuable papers and other items that need a secure storage place. We bought this as a birthday gift and he was very grateful! In fact, I later asked him about it. His reply to me: "I have it in a "safe" spot and it is currently guarding important documents ❤️ couldn't ask for more from it" That's a 5-star review from the happy owner! It's a great starter safe for young adults who may not need a much larger safe (yet); and wouldn't have room for a huge safe anyway. This can be put in a closet, pantry or other out-of-sight location; and I highly recommend it!

Trying to put it together and the interior shelf that is afixed via screw and washer was loosely attached and cross-threaded. Due to the angle, I cant unscrew it or otherwise remove the shelf to tighten it. It constantly rattles and I busted several knuckles trying to get it out with pliers and a wrench. When I tried to reach out for support, I only got automated messages and wasnt able to talk to a real person who could help with my issues. Also, this is not fireproof and isn't much thicker than a filing cabinet with a fancy lock.

We were looking for an affordable quality safe to keep our valuables in and hit the mark with this one. The size is just right , not too heavy and of good construction. We are highly pleased with our purchase.

Absolutely perfect bought it for my living room because the person i had had helping me kept stealing my smokes when I was asleep, I dont mean just 1 or 2 but a half a carton. I also needed somewhere to put my meds so my dog couldn't get them my place doesn't have a medicine cabinet. This is perfect I have my e-reader, medicine, headphones, ID and other stuff in there. Was very easy to set up.

Purchased for $75.67 in November 2025 (after a $10.32 promotion). Let’s get this out of the way: this 1.2 cubic foot safe with keys and digital keypad is not fireproof. It is about as fireproof as I am “candy proof” around Halloween—which is to say, not even a little. Actual fireproof safes have rated burn times, thick insulated walls, sealed doors, and no exposed screw-down points. This one is thin sheet metal with pre-drilled holes in the back and bottom for mounting. So it loses a star for that misleading “fireproof” claim. Since the safe isn't really fireproof, you will see in the attached video that I easily drilled some more holes in the top for mounting to the bottom of my stairs. Functionally, for basic security, it does the job. I say “fairly safe” because you can find videos online of an identical Amazon Basics safe getting cracked open in about twenty seconds with simple tools. That knocks off another star. The included instructions for the safe weren’t very clear when it came to setting the date and time. The guide makes it sound straightforward, but it never mentions the one detail that actually matters: the screen still has to be lit up blue—not timed out—when you attempt to adjust the settings. If the display has gone dark, the safe won’t register the date/time commands at all. Once you figure that out, it works, but the instructions definitely could have been clearer. That said, you really do get what you pay for. If you want a mild deterrent and some extra peace of mind, this safe works. We’re using it to store passports and hard drives with family photos—items we can’t lose—so we have ordered fireproof bags for actual fire protection (not shown in the video). If you want an inexpensive way to keep your items out of sight and away from casual hands, this works fine. Just understand that it isn’t fireproof and isn’t going to stop a determined intruder.
