Love this finishing nail gun

I wasn't sure at first. There is a learning curb. I just trimmed out a 3000 square foot house with this. You do need to wait a split second longer when firing than a pneumatic gun, but once you get used to that it fires well. If your trimming baseboard and windows, it's nice not dragging a cord around. I waited until I put down the oak treads before writing this to make sure it was powerful enough. No issues. With a 5 amp battery in it, after two days it's still over halfway full so that's not an issue. Overall very happy and it's replaced my Hitachi pneumatic that I've used for 20 years.

I’ve had previous 15 gage angled finish nailers, pneumatic and Senco Fusion battery. This nailer lives up to the expectations I had for a trim nailer. It consistently drives nails and sets them repeatedly. The battery life meets my expectations but don’t expect to get a day of heavy use on a single charge. I have plenty of 20V packs to swap so it wasn’t a priority. The nailer cycles quickly and always seemed ready to fire. When setting down, the nailer can stand on the battery pack keeping your workspace more organized. Minor criticisms: The adjuster for setting nail head depth felt very hard to turn and the rotation to turn the adjuster felt opposite to me. The weight of the gun is heavier than previous nailers used but Dewalt has made it very balanced from an ergonomic perspective. Overall, recommended if you want to spend the extra to go “hoseless”.

Could be lighter but does a really good job. Nice addition to tool set and makes jobs easier. Love that it’s cordless

Works very well. I have had a few jams with it but some of that comes with not seating the gun against the material properly before firing a nail. Get familiar with the nail depth adjustment to get the nail set you want and always fire a few tests into scrap wood before using on your work.

I love this nailer I wish I bought it years ago. Easy to use no air line to get tangled fires everytime i did trim around my garage I used a lot of nails no issues. Battery life was great, use of use excellent, and dewalt quality as I expect.

This company is a "Reseller" that flips all sorts of merchandise. If I had known that I would not have purchased this Nailer. The DeWalt Nailer arrived in box within a box. The DeWalt box had been previously opened and Nailer removed and replaced. The box had previous shipping labels covered over and was severely retaped numerous times. Out of the box the Nailer was broken. The nail pusher was locked in loading position and when released would not move as there was no tension of spring action to put pressure on nails. The company offered a deep 50 percent discount if I would keep the damaged Nailer, but I requested a refund. The company did refund without any problem; however, it was just the fact they shipped a broken tool someone else had obliviously returned, and then I had to pay to ship the broken tool back to the company. Now I will go to Home Depot and buy a Nailer which I should have done in the first place rather than try and save a few bucks......Lesson learned..

I have the pneumatic version of this nailer....not disappointed with this version. Lots of power to drive a 2.5inch finish nail. 15ga is great for holding power. Unfortunately Dewalt changed the angle of these nails, so I had to buy a whole new supply. $$$$ i didn't expect to spend. I'll use both nailers until the old nails are gone. I'm hooked on the 20v series of tools!
