It can use outdoor. It's waterproof except the bottom side.

Where to find the adapter/ smart switch plug like in the video?

It work like bulb, when it connect 110V AC or 220V power, it will turn on, sound&flash.

I have tried to different power adapters...neither one works for this unit...what powe souce are people using?

It work with AC110V (AC90 to 250V), needn't power adapters. It connect to outlet directly.

Siren or buzzer?is the sound a siren or buzzer?
