KEMSO 340LPH High Performance Fuel Pump, Replaces Walbro 255LPH GSS341

This carb rebuild kit has been on my bike (2006 Harley Sportster 1200) for about 200 miles, everything appears to be working perfectly. I’ve never rebuilt this carb but I watched some YouTube videos and installation was easy. Lastly you can’t beat the price.

So, this arrived super fast. Like, 2 days. I wasn't even prepared to install it yet, but I was able to tackle it the day after it arrived. The pump feels like its great quality and the install was simple. The only thing I did not like was the supplied plastic fuel line. I'm sure it would have worked, but I went to the parts store and bought my own. After installing, it primed very easily and the car crunk right up. Its not loud at all either. In my 240sx, the pump is located behind the rear seat in the trunk area and I could not hear it in the cab once I put the cover back on and closed my seat.

Looked great, great packaging. Install went fine. After roughly 2 hours of runtime the pump has shorted internally and stopped working. Reached out to support and nothing back.

So I ended up purchasing this for my 1995 Honda Civic. D15Y8. (MiniMe) I do have an adjustable fuel pressure regulator installed and had my fuel pressure set to 32 PSI on old OReilly Import Direct pump. I still have not altered my fuel pressure and she’s sitting at 41 PSI. Automatically tells me I had to open my regulator up more to increase flow due to a weak pump. I can hear this new KEMSO pump when it primes and she sounds amazing. No more hard starts. No more stuttering and running lean. Took me 15 minutes to install start to finish. A+++

Replaced OEM in tank fuel pump for 1986 Mazda RX7. Smaller diameter 1.5 " vs 2.0" required zip ties for easy installation. All parts were included for installation. While I haven't measured it yet, there appears to be more than enough fuel pressure and flow for engine to fire up immediately ( within 5 seconds) and to run smoothly, even under hard acceleration. Only time will tell about durability, ( the original lasted over 40 years, 196,000 miles).

It's a pump it does what it's supposed to do but FYI to everyone who reads this do yourself a favor upgrade your fuel line instead of having a metal carrying your fuel you have a rubber hose carrying your fuel into an external fuel pump that can be mounted anywhere on your car how long will they external fuel filter that could be mounted anywhere between the fuel filter and the fuel rail. Get you an adjustable gas pressure regulator to upgrade for your car so next time something is wrong you can get you at a lot easier on the outside of the gas tank instead of spending $300 to pay someone to drop the tank clean it out just to get to it fuel filter or to change out the fuel pump because on the outside of the gas tank has a lot better temperature difference between fuel filters and external fuel filter stays cooler last longer and less of a hassle to get to in case you need to replace it with another upgraded external fuel pump and always change your fuel filter a lot more than you have been in your lifetime with your car and you have right now because fuel filters are not being changed by the men who changed the oil this is why it's crucial if you have an older car or a car that you plan on keeping for a very long time upgrade it always upgrade everything.
