Adorable. Nostalgic. Love, love the jadeite color. I want to bake a chocolate bundt cake. Ordered 2/20, arrived 2/23. *****I'm on the hunt for an acrylic dome to fit the flat area on the jadeite cake stand, which measures 24.5cm or about 9.6".

While this is beautiful and scratches that itch for Jadeite, it does not fit a standard glass dome. I bought this to replace a vintage scalloped edge cake plate that sadly fell apart while cutting a piece of cake. The measurements of this beautiful scalloped edge cake plate was the same, but the problem was my scalloped cake plates were straight up and down, these are more fluted like the edge of a pie which means the measurements do not account for the inside lip/ scallops, only the outer scallops. That means the inner scallops inhibit the dome from fitting. The scallops impede it from safely sitting on the plate. I will keep it in the hoped of finding a smaller dome. But this may only be used for decoration or to set out at a get together with treats that don't need to be covered. As far as sturdiness and durability, it seems to be of standard weight. It came in nice condition and well packed. As far as versatility.... it would be more versatile if it was made to allow for a standard dome to sit securely on top.
