Riedel O Wine Tumbler Cabernet/Merlot and Viognier/Chardonnay, Clear, Set of 4-7414/50

Purchased as a gift as I already have a pair, these glasses are lovely. They’re fine glass but robust and getting 2xpairs is perfect for us. The white glasses are quite small but perfect for water - big ones are for wine obviously, nobody wants more water than wine after all! They wash well in the dishwasher too and easier to stack than those with handles.

Seit bestimmt 15 Jahren nutze ich diese Gläser und bin immer wieder aufs Neue begeistert. Nicht nur über die superschicke Form, auch die Stabilität der Gläser ist beeindruckend, und dass obwohl sie so dünn sind. Kann ich uneingeschränkt empfehlen!

This two + two set was pefect for replacing those same style tumbers our dishwasher ate from our 8 tumber sets.

*update Sept 20, 2020* Since May I start to use the other Viognier/Chardonnay, now this one cracked as well. Last time I contacted Riedel, and they offered me some 5% coupon off their site's shop (with marked up prices). Not going to bother with Riedel anymore. Dropping some stars on this. *update May 21, 2020 (just under a year from purchase)* One of my glass cracked, I baby these glass and not even used them in dishwasher. It's sad, but with its thinness, I'd guess it'll be more prone to breaking. *original review* The Viognier/Chardonnay is a nice size, however the Cabernet/Merlot was much bigger than I anticipated. They don't give me a good hold in my hands, feels like I'm holding a soup bowl. That said, both of them are excellent quality, very thin. It says it's dishwasher safe, and it'll probably survive the dishwasher, but I'll hand wash mine, since it feels very delicate.
