FlameKo Savannah Fireplace with 39" surround and Realistic Flame Effect Heater Dark Bronx Oak Multiple Colours Available

So, today I did a thing all by myself in under an hour. Really easy instructions to follow. Looks amazing. Really easy to figure out the remote control to use its functions. The flame effect impressive, the flames even appear in front of the top logs not just behind them. Thought it may need fixing to the wall for extra safety but it is very sturdy and solid. When the heater is on there is a level of noise but for the price that's to be expected. The ambient lighting, in my opinion, makes it look cheap and is probably better suited to the lighter colours or the black but I'm sure it will come in handy at Christmas time. I would think.

Stunning fire place. Nice and straight forward to put together. Arrived earlier than expected in two boxes. Highly recommend. The heat is nice and strong and the lighting on it is so pretty. Looks so much more expensive than what it cost.

Great product. Reluctant at first whether it was going to be a good heater etc but really is a great fireplace for any room. Heats up my living room within minutes and is a 31m2 room. When building the surround, just be patient with it and be sure to have the pieces at the right rotation in order to go together and be as sturdy as it is when finished. Great product, great value & quick delivery.

Its a stunning electric heater/fireplace with old school log fire aesthetics with moden woodwork surround. It's exactly what I was looking for. Pleasing to to eye. It's made from MDF with Oak veneer. I was very pleased it arrived 2 days from placing order. It was 3 days earlier than expected. It arrives in 2 seperate boxes and came together on same day unlike other previous bulky purchases I've made that arrived on seperate days which can be quite frustrating. It comes as flat-packed so it needs assembling together. I knew this from reading other peoples reviews but the most frustrating part was it took me about 3 hours to assembly start to finish and test the product out. And another 1 hour to rip the boxes into shreds and bin the rubbish in red bin outside and sweep up indoors, I'm just clean like that. I'm sure others would be quicker than me to assemble as I'm not in best of health and i move quite slow. But I got there in the end. Didn't realise there was so many screws and fixtures to what seems a simple box. Over 100 I think but you only need one tool and thats a Philips screwdriver and flat head screwdriver for the cam bolts. The PROS: I have to say the finished product is of great quality material and very sturdy and fairly heavy. I was expecting lightweight cheap wood but its quite the opposite. Smooth polished veneer. The log fire effect looks realistic with 3 contrasts and surround lights give that glow in the dark with 14 different colour settings. It has a very handy thermostat built in so you can set the temp to desired settings and will switch off when right temp has reached. Also you have a timer to how long you want heater on from 30 mins to 9 hours. And a more sophisticated feature of weekly timer settings if you prefer. Heater does warm up room nice and toasty in few minutes. And the best thing about this product is that it has a remote control for lazy folk like me. It does have built-in controls on the heater itself. You can't lose. And finally for the price at £199 you will not find the same anywhere else. Its worth the price. I paid extra £14 to get 3yr warranty. Just for peace of mind. The CONS: As mentioned it takes long time to assemble. Thats not good for those in bad health or OAPs. It can also seem a bit tricky if you're not a technical handy person. It's also quite noisy than expected. You will certainly know when it's on. I'm used to silent heaters, I previoulsy had a halogen one which is completely silent and for lasted me 6 years but the lights are too bright on them and take a lot longer to warm up room. But they're economical and save ££ on electric bills. This 2KW heater will be more expensive to run. I'm also not comfortable with this noisy one yet. It will take time for me to get used to it, I think. It also has only one heat setting so it may not be practical when you need a small amount of heat. Also the back is hollow, it would've been great if it had a back cover/panel. The reason being that it will get dusty around back over time and will have to dust it down to keep it clean. These are the reasons why I gave it 4 stars out of 5. Overall I'm pleased with the new heater, looks great, made from good solid materials, sturdy and aesthetically spot on. I got this for my bedroom while most people have this in their living room. And again for the price, it's worth getting one. It's perfect for long cold winters in UK. I got dark oak colour. They are also available in white or light oak colour to suit your taste.

Excellent convector heater. Easy to assemble IF you follow instructions. Remote is easy to use. The ability to change lighting backglow and the flame effect is most welcome. 100% recommend
