My 5yo son has been wanting this for some time now. It wasn't until his thoughtful aunt gave him a starter kit that I began to understand what the buzz is all about. He could play with this for hours (meaning, uninterrupted work time for mommy!). At one point, I had to check on him to see if everything is ok since he was so quiet. Lo and behold, just happily playing with his kinetic sand. So the curious (and guilty - slightly felt bad for leaving my son alone playing) me asked if I could play with him. what can I say - it was love at first touch! What did they put in this thing that makes it feel so satisfying?! It's like controlled and neat mush! Like wet sand you can build and rebuild minus the trip to the beach or the park! My son's words actually - so satisfying! x50! So yeah, bought another bag of this (and then some) for his fortress - and mine!

Super soft and holds its shape well, even when used frequently! I am a school therapist and my sand gets used multiple times a day. It holds up! I will say that it gets a little stickier in the warmer months, but it is still well loved by students age 4-13.

I bought Kinetic sand for my sensory tables for my PreK classroom. And my students loved it!

I want my toddler to stay engaged with activities she enjoys to reduce screen time. She has been playing with this for 30 minutes every day. The kinetic sand is of excellent quality it’s very soft and sticks together really well. It feels like a mix between clay and sand. You can form various shapes with it, which I believe helps spark my toddler’s imagination. The vibrant blue color is also very appealing to her. It seems safe and is worth every dollar. I’m giving this product 4 stars because it arrived with a tear in the packaging. However, I decided not to return it since my toddler was so excited to play with it.

Stay away from off brand (I made that mistake) this stuff is legit and holds up! We had several bags of this filling an old retired (outdoor) water table that we then brought inside to make an ocean themed sensory place space for our Autistic son. We used this sand with ocean animals and sea shells - it was perfect! We never sealed it up, we left it out in the table for months and it never got weird or dried up/out. Highly highly recommend!

Can’t go wrong with kinetic sand. Good color. Great value. No issues.
