 It drives the cat crazy! Good for exercise. Love that I don’t have to keep buying those tiny batteries since this one has a charger.

This is much nicer than I expected. After our last pointer literally fell apart I decided on this one thinking the USB recharging would be convenient. But the reality is that we haven't needed to recharge it yet anyway, and the cats LOVE it. Even more so than the old one. When the simple red dot is selected, the dot itself is larger than the old one, so I think it's easier for them to see it? Glad I bought two of them so my husband and I both have one for when our Halley gets rambunctious and we need to wear her out.

As a French teacher, I use this in my classroom to point out various useful phrases I have posted around the classroom in French and English -it helps me stay in the target language while also being understood by my (sometimes confused!) students. I've used it for over a month and haven't had to charge it yet. Fantastic!

Very pleased with this laser. I'm hoping this will help my kitten to learn to scratch the toys meant for scratching instead of me & my dog. Since it arrived a few hours ago she has preferred to chase the laser. After luring her to scratching posts & cardboard scratchpad with the pointer she has went back a couple of times to check out the new scratching sensation.As far as the pointer goes, it appears to be of good quality, nicely packaged & excellent extras like usb charging, several pointer images, UV light & handy flashlight plus a nice case.Of course it was pretty fun watching her chase the little dot.I'm thinking this will make an excellent gift for my cat loving friends too. After all seems it would be nice to have one in every room.

I've had a couple laser toys that worked just fine - until it was time to change the batteries. Those tiny button batteries that are impossible to find in stores... I got this version specifically because it's rechargeable via USB. I haven't used the flash or UV lights, but the laser itself works just fine - and the designs that can be switched by turning a dial mean that my formerly feral feline can hunt butterflies to her heart's content. I've found that with the laser closer to a surface, the design is harder to discern, but the farther it is from the floor or wall, the clearer (and larger) it is. I can aim it at the ceiling while seated on the floor and see a perfect butterfly (or star, or smiley). My young girl leaps into action every time she hears the clink of the toy against my ring, so it's a hit. Not all cats will be responsive to laser toys, but if yours get excited when you pull one out, you can't go wrong with this version.

I love that you can recharge this laser pointer! I havent had any problems with it dimming or not charging. It also doesnt feel cheap like some others do. The little designs are cute until they get about 8 feet away, then they start to distort. My cat doesnt like them anyway, so that's not a big deal to me. The flashlight isn't very bright, but again, that's not why I bought it.

This is a pretty good little lazer pointer and flashlight combo. It is about the length of an ink pen and lightweight. There are 5 different Lazer settings which include a mouse, star, butterfly, smiley face and the regular red dot and all the pictures work well when pointing on a surface from a good distance. This also has a nice bright flashlight and a uv light setting which is cool. There is a clip on this that is removable and it also has a strap attached. The best part is that it requires no batteries, is rechargeable and the charge last a very good amount of time. This does come with a storage case also. I got this even tho I have no pets but my kids love it.

The light is very bright and easy to see even in a bright room. the two additional pattern it creates are fun but I haven't tryied out the effect on the cat yet, I assume they're more gimmicks for humans, can't imagine cats care much about a laswer drawn image.But whatever, my cat immediately jumped on the dot and I could chase her around with it. It has a built in USB charger port which is the reason I bought it. I had a device before where I had to change tiny batteries all the time and it wasn't fun. This one is convenient to use and emits a bright dot, that's all that counts.It's a metal device which is also a plus over plastic casing.I can't comment on the durability yet since I got it just today. If it breaks down, I will update my review.
