I’ve taken D3 for quite a while. I wanted to try Whole Foods for the price point. I haven’t been as impressed with the absorption. If you need more D3 for depression, I’d do a different brand.

Don't take my word for it - search it. Well known, highly credentialed MD's explain that we need to supplement vitamin D during winter months, because we don't get as much direct sunlight. About a week after I began taking 3 of these daily, my teenaged daughter caught a nasty head cold. Coughing in our space, sneezing, touching everything in the kitchen, etc., like ya do... Normally, late fall early winter I will automatically catch anyone's cold in my proximity and suffer greatly for two weeks. If I start treating it with zycam lozenges every 3 hours, I am able to shorten that to one week. Sure enough, several days into my daughter's cold, I felt the usual onset of symptoms that I always experience, without fail, worsening over the course of two days: 1) intense fatigue, 2) headache 3) sinus drainage 4) aching, red rimmed eyes 5) flaming raw sore throat Normally, on day three I awaken with horrible head congestion, and begin using up whole boxes of kleenex daily. ***THIS TIME, on day three I awakened with ZERO SYMPTOMS. Have been fine since!*** Obviously this is anecdotal evidence, unique to my experience. But, I believe it is highly likely the Vitamin D supplementation is what helped my immune system crush the cold virus early. It probably is a great strategy to take this every day if you have not yet contracted the big scary virus that has been causing so much trouble around the world. What do you have to lose, right? These arrived in the summertime and were stuck together. Just popped them in the refrigerator and shook them up. Right as rain.

This supplement has worked wonders on me. I take one daily. It’s easy to swallow. It has cleansing . My energy level is higher than it was before using it. It’s definitely worth your money! I got 100 softgels.
