Are the bolts tamper-proof?

No, they're just standard bolts. The item is currently unavailable but I don't think it should be relisted unless the description is changed - it shouldn't be described as "secure" when the bikes could be silently stolen by anyone with just a standard spanner! Get one with either security bolts / caps or at least a cross bar so stand can't be slid through locks

How do you stop someone from unbolting this and stealing the bike?

Unfortunately, someone with the necessary tools could unbolt the stand. We do have the same stand that needs to be set in concrete but that unit is out of stock till the middle of August. Thanks, WPD

Well built, solid, neat construction and good value. Courier managed to drag it along concrete (I suspect) and scrape off some of the coating down to the metal, but it's easily touched up.
