I use this airbrush to paint fishing lures and I have to say this is a great product especially for the price point. I also use an Iwata Eclipse and a Badger Patriot which are at a much higher price point. This airbrush performs just as well and the nozzle tip stays clean without a lot of cleaning while you paint like the cheaper airbrushes do. All in all it's a good airbrush with minimal investment for beginners as well as a good back-up for expert painters.

Incredible value! Premium airbrush at a budget price. This airbrush is as good as any IWATA airbrushes I’ve used at less the half the price. Also, Gaahleri customer service is excellent and replacement parts are moderately priced. Try their paint line (Kaleido) as well. Applies as good as, if not better, than Tamiya acrylics.

I bought this airbrush for spraying K2 Clear Coat, which a fairly quick drying time. If the airbrush isn’t cleaned immediately the clear coat will harden like CA super glue. Not wanting to use one of expensive airbrush’s I choose this Gaahlerl airbrush as it was very reasonably priced and would not be a great loss. To my surprise the airbrush preformed flawlessly, was a breeze to clean and with two needles a 0.30 and 0.50mm plus paint cups. What a deal, great price plus Gaahleri quality extends to this airbrush. Buy one you will not regret it.

Being an engineer myself and using iwata and other generic brushes, I immediately knew that this was one of the best airbrushes on the market and at a ridiculously low price point. Just take a look for yourself at every single airbrush nozzle and cap that is being sold. They are all almost identical and one of the primary points of failure on them all. If they don't fail they clog ridiculously fast and easy meaning mixture of paint has to be spot on or you're going to have a bad time. Now take a look at the nozzle on gallaris brushes, and notice the channels those are for air to flow through on the others they're all conical with no grooves. These grooves help prevent paint from drying out while using it, they create far better atomization in the Venturi effect is much greater meaning the flow and evenness of the spray on these are so much better I would urge you to try for yourself I've already sold at least seven people on these that were die hard iwata fans, I even gave my old Iwata away. The only problem if you think of it as a problem is that their greatest strength that sets them apart also makes that nozzle more difficult to have around. When you're using the other type you have the generic nozzle and hats in the nozzles that it comes with laying around an abundance while these come with two you're not going to find a replacement unless you go directly to Gaahleri which isn't a big deal their prices are about on par with iwatas replacement parts if not cheaper and they can be ordered through Amazon and you can have them in 2 days you're just not going to be able to go down the road and get a nozzle for it if you lose it. I just can't say enough about how much better they are compared to every other brush I've used and I've had quite a few expensive ones cheap ones they're really isn't a massive amount of difference between them unless you are an expert painter with these you can put them up against the most expensive brushes out there and you're going to pick this even if the expensive ones where's cheap as it, just excellent engineering and when you have that you have a great product.

Phenomenal airbrush. Excellent value. I'm I've used airbrushes for many years, some okay, some good, this one is impressive. Among the things I like best: good spray pattern, consistent performance, ridiculously easy to clean, no leaks. I have primarily used it with Tamiya acrylics, but I would have no reservations using it with any paint; enamels, laquers, even automotive. For the price, you can't go wrong. I'll definitely look at this brand for my next airbrush.

Okay, it’s been over a year since I purchased this airbrush and while I admit that my frequency of use has been limited, I’ve got a few things to say: I got an airbrush prior to this that was cheap and it came with everything I’d need to get started. I was so excited to use it to paint miniatures since my husband and I play board games nightly and have plenty to paint. Cheap airbrushes work and don’t let anyone tell you they do not, but something I wish I would have known sooner is the ease of use varies depending on how much you’re willing to pay. Little things like the lever guide on this model is what makes a world a difference when initially learning how to use this tool. The nozzle on this model is so much easier to handle too. Prior to purchasing this Gaahleri, I was trying to watch videos and check reddit to see if people had positive things to say. There was a whole lot of talk about the guy who helped design it and how he was this or that and how it was a rip off or whatever. I absolutely completely disagree with the trash I read. I don’t know who made this product come to be but I’m grateful that it did because I’m slowly learning how to airbrush and clean the gun, which is top priority. There’s a lot of videos on YouTube to see any errors I’ve made and learn how to correct them. Even the box comes with this nicely designed anatomy of the brush picture which has been so much help for reassembly. I haven’t had issues with leakage or anything like that. In fact, I was shocked that my paint choice of Turbo Dork ended up being an acceptable decision since apparently it’s notorious for needing a bigger needle according to some. The .5 worked perfectly here. Idk, that’s my high praise. If anyone in our board game circles inquires on what I’ve been using, I’ll always recommend this gun. Especially if it’s someone who’s never airbrushed before. I’m also including some minis I painted for our aliens game. The queen is especially a metallic hit all thanks to this airbrush.

This is a great airbrush for the price. I’m an experienced airbrush user, with over 50 years of experience, and I own several “high end” airbrushes. This airbrush compares well with more expensive models. The choice of needle apertures and color cups is a great feature. Large openings for the color cups make cleaning easier. One very nice feature is an adjustable “needle stop” which causes the needle to stop at a precise point when the trigger is pulled, resulting in a consistent amount of paint being released. This feature makes fine line painting much easier, and reduces fatigue while using the brush. I worked in a hobby shop, where I taught how to use and maintain airbrushes. The biggest issue our customers had is not cleaning and maintaining their airbrushes. This airbrush is easier to maintain, with large openings for the paint cups, making it easier to clean between painting sessions with different colors. It does have a lot of small parts, as do other double action airbrushes, so it’s not meant for younger children. The only issue I can see is this airbrush has several rubber and nylon seals, which may eventually wear out, but it does come with a packet of extra seals, and instructions.

Als absoluter Anfänger im Bereich Airbrush war ich auf der Suche nach einer Pistole, die bezahlbar ist, aber nicht direkt nach dem ersten Benutzen auseinanderfällt. Dieses Set hat mich absolut positiv überrascht. Warum ich dieses Set für Einsteiger empfehle: Hochwertiges Material: Was mir sofort aufgefallen ist: Die Pistole ist komplett aus Metall gefertigt. Hier wirkt nichts billig oder nach zerbrechlichem Kunststoff. Das gibt dem Gerät ein gutes Gewicht und sie liegt dadurch sehr wertig in der Hand. Umfangreiches Zubehör: Für den Start ist alles dabei, was man braucht. Es liegen zwei Nadeln und Düsen (0,35 mm und 0,5 mm) bei, was super ist, um sowohl feine Linien als auch größere Flächen (wie bei meinen 3D-Drucken) zu sprühen. Flexibilität: Mit den zwei verschieden großen Farbtanks kann man sich je nach Projekt anpassen – kleine Mengen für Details, große für Grundierungen. Einfache Handhabung: Ich bin als Neuling sofort gut damit klar gekommen. Die Reinigung und der Wechsel der Nadeln erklären sich fast von selbst. Mein Fazit: Natürlich gibt es im Profi-Bereich Pistolen für mehrere hundert Euro, die noch feiner arbeiten, aber für den Anfang macht man hier absolut nichts verkehrt. Es ist das ideale "Zwischending": Nicht zu billig, dass es frustriert, aber auch kein teures Profi-Equipment, das das Budget sprengt. Man kann hiermit super lernen und sich später immer noch steigern. Für alle, die in das Hobby reinschnuppern wollen: Klare Kaufempfehlung!

For the money, this is an excellent airbrush. You get some replacement parts and 2 needles, all you need to get started. Easy to clean and atomizes well. Build quality not as refined as some more expensive airbrushes, but at 20% of the cost, that's normal. Ideal for priming, varnishing ir quick coats. Recommended.
