I use this airbrush to paint fishing lures and I have to say this is a great product especially for the price point. I also use an Iwata Eclipse and a Badger Patriot which are at a much higher price point. This airbrush performs just as well and the nozzle tip stays clean without a lot of cleaning while you paint like the cheaper airbrushes do. All in all it's a good airbrush with minimal investment for beginners as well as a good back-up for expert painters.

This is a great airbrush for the price. I’m an experienced airbrush user, with over 50 years of experience, and I own several “high end” airbrushes. This airbrush compares well with more expensive models. The choice of needle apertures and color cups is a great feature. Large openings for the color cups make cleaning easier. One very nice feature is an adjustable “needle stop” which causes the needle to stop at a precise point when the trigger is pulled, resulting in a consistent amount of paint being released. This feature makes fine line painting much easier, and reduces fatigue while using the brush. I worked in a hobby shop, where I taught how to use and maintain airbrushes. The biggest issue our customers had is not cleaning and maintaining their airbrushes. This airbrush is easier to maintain, with large openings for the paint cups, making it easier to clean between painting sessions with different colors. It does have a lot of small parts, as do other double action airbrushes, so it’s not meant for younger children. The only issue I can see is this airbrush has several rubber and nylon seals, which may eventually wear out, but it does come with a packet of extra seals, and instructions.

Small update: I loved this so much a bought a second when it went on sale! I’ve never owned a good airbrush until I bought this one. I’ve never tried an Iwata or any of the other expensive brands so I can’t compare it to those, but I love this airbrush so far. It’s been a huge step up in quality. I’ve used and been frustrated with cheaper generic airbrushes many times before. This is smooth to operate and much much easier to clean. I don’t have the same issues with constant clogging I’ve had in the past with other airbrushes. Got this for a great price too. Sure wish I would have had this as an option when I first got into airbrushing my models.

I've only been using this airbrush for a couple of weeks and it's working out just fine. Way better than the 30 I payed for it. It's super easy to clean and the larger filler cup is a must. This airbrush has given me no issues at all and just keeps on spraying. This was a huge improvement over the $25 brush I had. This brush seems to atomize the paint much better than the old one I've been using. Great thing about this airbrush is being able to order parts for it from the schematic located under the lid. It is also modifiable from what I understand. So far I'm very happy with this purchase. I'm just curious as to what kind of difference one of their top of their line models would be like?

Very good airbrush!

First of all, I think if you are in the market for an airbrush and you understand how to use the and take care of them...this is a great little unit. I have been using airbrushes for many years and have tried many brands on the market. The big name brands live up to their reputations, but the newer brands are providing casual users and new airbrush enthusiasts with good solid gear...with an affordable price and good quality...and that is what this airbrush is. Really seems to be quite a nice airbrush for the price and I look forward to seeing how it holds up over the years of use. I am also interested in checking out some of Gaahleri's more advanced models, because if this airbrush is this good...at this price, then their advanced mobius line is for sure worth it's weight as well. If you are on the fence about trying this airbrush, go for it...well worth every penny!

This airbrush is simply amazing. I've purchased many - many - airbrushes over the years, from inexpensive/cheap knock-off and generic brands to high-end H&S series (which are also amazing), and this one, for everyday use, cannot be beat. The design is nearly as elegant as the Ultra or Infinity from H&S. The ease of use is the same, and tearing the piece down for deep cleaning is identical. Dollar for dollar, this airbrush is simply wonderful and a joy to use and clean (if cleaning can be considered a joy). The self-centering nozzle reduces the number of pieces; all you have is the nozzle and the cap. No individual, tiny pieces as you find in the Iwata machines (of which I have several). Much more detail and individual channels (unlike the Badger series). Each of the main components are individually sealed with o-rings that can also be replaced as needed. The cups are polished to a mirror-like finish, making cleaning and changing colors much easier. A dab or two of cleaner will remove the most stubborn paints, but most everything will wipe right off. If you have a limited budget but are looking for something dependable, easy to use, easy to clean, and easy change outs of needles...this is the machine for you.

This is a great airbrush for beginners. My biggest problem so far is the trigger action could be a little smoother, but for the price it's a great value. I'll definitely look into Gaahleri again when I need another airbrush.

Als absoluter Anfänger im Bereich Airbrush war ich auf der Suche nach einer Pistole, die bezahlbar ist, aber nicht direkt nach dem ersten Benutzen auseinanderfällt. Dieses Set hat mich absolut positiv überrascht. Warum ich dieses Set für Einsteiger empfehle: Hochwertiges Material: Was mir sofort aufgefallen ist: Die Pistole ist komplett aus Metall gefertigt. Hier wirkt nichts billig oder nach zerbrechlichem Kunststoff. Das gibt dem Gerät ein gutes Gewicht und sie liegt dadurch sehr wertig in der Hand. Umfangreiches Zubehör: Für den Start ist alles dabei, was man braucht. Es liegen zwei Nadeln und Düsen (0,35 mm und 0,5 mm) bei, was super ist, um sowohl feine Linien als auch größere Flächen (wie bei meinen 3D-Drucken) zu sprühen. Flexibilität: Mit den zwei verschieden großen Farbtanks kann man sich je nach Projekt anpassen – kleine Mengen für Details, große für Grundierungen. Einfache Handhabung: Ich bin als Neuling sofort gut damit klar gekommen. Die Reinigung und der Wechsel der Nadeln erklären sich fast von selbst. Mein Fazit: Natürlich gibt es im Profi-Bereich Pistolen für mehrere hundert Euro, die noch feiner arbeiten, aber für den Anfang macht man hier absolut nichts verkehrt. Es ist das ideale "Zwischending": Nicht zu billig, dass es frustriert, aber auch kein teures Profi-Equipment, das das Budget sprengt. Man kann hiermit super lernen und sich später immer noch steigern. Für alle, die in das Hobby reinschnuppern wollen: Klare Kaufempfehlung!

This airbrush has been fantastic so far. I have been using a cheaper airbrush that was included with a compressor I bought recently and I was wondering if I was just doing something wrong because the airbrush would spit regularly. Once I got this airbrush that problem seemed to just immediately go away. The build quality of the airbrush is brilliant, feels very sturdy and well made, no machining marks or anything that looks odd or out of place. This also came with the 2 needle sizes which has made life much easier when I'm moving between spraying primer and then painting in more detail. I've not had any issues with this spitting whatsoever, it's very easy to disassemble and clean and the airbrush comes with a good guide for all the parts and how this is put together so there's no guess work if you are doing something wrong or in the wrong order. This airbrush just feels much more precise and consistent, the trigger pull feels smooth and I'll get the same amount of spray from the same trigger positions (unlike the cheaper one) so I can feel confident that it will do what I intend for it to do. It's great having the 2 different paint cup sizes, again making life easier when I can use the bigger cup and fill this for priming and then switching to the smaller cup when I move to painting and detailing it since I won't be using as much paint and don't need a large cup on there. I was concerned initially because I use a very small portable compressor and thought there might not be enough pressure to use this but I have had no issues, the flow of air again feels much better than the cheaper airbrush so I'd be confident using this with any air compressor. I'll still likely upgrade to a bigger one soon but that's another matter :) Overall 5/5, great airbrush for someone starting out or familiar with an airbrush to get started, I'd recommend getting this over a £10-20 airbrush right away because you will only end up needing to upgrade sooner rather than later, so why bother getting a bad cheap airbrush when you can start off with a good one at a reasonable price.
