The external adapter (which didn't come with the Mifi is a very tight squeeze, but does fit. If was even a mm larger I would have had to get the deeper version of this, (same price on Amazon), but I wanted the thinner box if possible to fit better in my backpack.Since the M3000 doesn't come with the adapter you are on your own to purchase it if you need it, and the one I got is likely over powered anyway, so maybe I will just get a slimmer one so that it fits a little better.
