Once I got the spacers ground down to fit in the first hole, they were easy to install. It works great and I love it!

The only reason why I am giving 4 stars instead of 5 is lack of instructions. But if you have any mechanical know how, these are pretty easy to install. They work pretty well...although you can tell that they put a bit of strain on the hood hinges when lifting it.

Easy install, took about 10 mins. BUT... When you first try to close the hood don't be alarmed, you will have to pull it down hard to release the 1st tension pull. I thought it was defective at 1st. I pulled down on the hood hard and then it released the pressure. After that 1st close it worked like a champ. Overall good product for the price.

To start this looks like a simple install. It actually isn’t complicated but leave out some key points. The instructions aren’t clear on how the hood side brackets connector should face. Not one of the pictures even show it. Over all the instructions and pictures are rather vague. Passenger side installed rather easily and quickly despite the lack of detail and quality instruction. The drivers side was an absolute disaster! The bracket appeared to fit at first glance but this poorly manufactured bracket not only wouldn’t seat but stripped the bolt from the vehicle and the actual threads on the body. Now I can’t even secure the vehicle back the way it was. Body side brackets on the quarter panel are poorly made. They do now line up well with the vehicles mounting point. In addition the bracket has a single bend instead of two 90 degree bends to fit the body panel. Lazy and sloppy manufacturing. Pricing is resealable for what is basically off the shelf parts but ruined by poor design, lack of quality control and cutting corners.

Quick and easy to install with minimal tools, and they work great!! The struts mount into existing holes in the Bronco and they're strong enough to hold the hood up with ease. These should come standard from the factory!

Good kit. However, the bolts are questionable, so I replaced them with stainless bolts. Also the struts themselves are pretty strong. I understand they'll lose some strength over time, but you need to be careful not to flex the hood too much. I am very happy with the kit overall,

What should have been a 10 minute install took 3 hours!!!!! Not one of the brackets fit properly and required some serious effort to get the fender brackets on. In fact I actually ended up partially stripping one of the threaded holes trying to make the infernal things fit. Also, the setup they use to install the upper mounts on the hood were too large for the forward hole so I spent at least 2.5 hours with a grinder and a bench vise shaving little bits off at a time the needed amount to get the steel plate to go through the hole!!!!! WHAT A COLOSSAL PAIN IN THE BEHIND!!!!! I would never recommend these to anyone. These were supposed to be a simple bolt on accessory but they were far, far from it. If you don't have a grinder, bench vise and a very strong second set of hands, you will have a near impossible task trying to get these installed in your 2024 Ford Bronco.
